   The stories of the Lot family in Genesis, the first and foundational book of the Scriptures, and The Book of Revelation, the last book in the canon, have a major theme in common, What is it? It is the motif of FIRE. Sodom is destroyed by literal fire of great intensity and power. There is melting hot volcanic fire and brimstone. Look to the Book of Revelation and the 21 judgments, three sets of seven each, which are related to destruction by various forms of fire. Are there many forms of destruction by fire? Yes. Here are examples: gun fire, house fires, forest fires, volcanic fire, nuclear fire. "As the days of Lot were, so shall the coming of the son of man be." FIRE.
 
   In my lifetime, people have gotten accustomed to many forms of fire expressed through electricity, the power grid. With ELECTRICITY AS A FORM OF FIRE, there is the "juice" to enable, to power up electric/electronic/digital idols in recent decades. First cars and other vehicles like trucks, vans, delivery trucks, small and large planes, boat motors, scooters, motorcycles and snowmobiles. They need electrical power as well as gasoline or diesel in order to function. They run on a subtle form of fire. Reliance on interior and exterior lighting systems, refrigerators and freezers, ranges and ovens, toaster ovens, microwave ovens, and washers and dryers. The dependency on  electric things and enlarging of the power grid continued with radio, corded telephones, vinyl records and turntables, black and white televisions, then those in color. Next came the VCR players and cassette movies, the cassette music and boom boxes, and walkmans, stereo systems, surround sound systems. Next were the cd music and dvd movies. Then cell phones. Now are the blue ray players and movies, the "Kindles"and "Nooks", the tablets, the laptop computers, i pads and i phones, and mp3 players. Who can begin to imagine living without some or all of these? Total shut down.
 
   These are the ear and eye candies, the idols of our times to fixate upon and worship. Descartes wrote "I think, therefore I am." What do many believe now? "I electronic, therefore I am." "I digitalize, therefore I exist." The electricity/electronic/digital people, by the millions and billions, worship their electronic gadgets and gizmos. They are captives, unawares, to IDOLS, to their FALSE GODS OF FIRE POWER. Much different than the worship of the sun god?  How can any idols bestow life? Salvation? Ultimate meaning?
 
   The Book of Revelation warns "Ye shall have tribulation for 10 days." Will there be the beginning of shutting down, shutting off, death, and casting away of non functioning and useless electronic idols soon? Large and small. Electronics dead. Digitals gone. Car, truck, van, delivery truck engines and electrical systems burned up . Destruction by forms of fire? Will solar flares, solar storms, and solar winds take out the power grid, the "juice" everywhere? We are in an intensive solar maximum period now, from 2010 to 2020. Will these combine with the approach of Planet X (Nibiru) to create unexpected havoc and turmoil? Dead powerless false gods, idols cast away. How would many function without their cell phone calls, the texting, the twittering, the tweats, the facebooking?
 
   Will these begin to be radically affected in the 10 days before The Day of The Blessed Hope? Will the Days of Awe this year from 9-4 to 14 or 15, be those 10 days of tribulation with final tests and trials for the bride/body of the Messiah of Israel, Christ the Lord? The end of 40 days of repentance (Teshuvah) will be Yom Kippur. It will be day 40 and day 10. Yom Kippur will be 9-13 to 14. The whole world, far back on the 24 hour grid, finishes it on 9-15. When will the fire dependent false gods of our age, the electronic idols, begin to fail and die? Come quickly, Lord...
