Fivedoves Friends

I went away for a couple of months; didn’t even read a post for the last two months. It was really impressed upon me to “rest”. At first I thought this meant, “rest” for me from research and writing. Later, I understood “rest” also meant in Christ. Trust God for all things and applying this to a daily state of mind.

I have scanned some of the fivedoves posts I have missed over that time. Not surprisingly, we have been treading similar ground. This particular post is prompted by those themes and our Spiritual connection. Also, I would like to offer a more personal outreach to all doves in general and some in particular, than my usual posts.

John, thank you for your persistence in providing this place of worship. When we seek the Lord and greater understanding of His word we are truly worshiping Him. Also, your post on the tetrads a few days ago adds further encouragement to me that we are closer to all things than even most of us think.

One undercurrent of my rest was concern of the most recent round of infiltration of those who would create intentional division. We have seen these things come in waves. The most recent seemed closer to the dove’s home to me. So, I see Nicole has had a similar concern and really has been persistent is ringing the alarm, Go Nicole! The Spirit smiles within me when I read your posts putting everything out there regardless of how it sounds. Not that you don’t write more normal stuff, too! I know what that feels like.

Jean Stepnoski has been posting for a long time on topics that were very close to what I was being led to. I see that has continued.

I see mention by several people who are simply “ready”. Amen, to that. I have finally realized that feeling “ready” is more about our state in Him, rather than His timing. Speaking of His timing, how can we be “wrong” so often? Well, I’m not sure that we are as incorrect as it seems. Discerning important parts of God’s plan can be real, but our conclusions about timing can still be flawed…more on this later.

Luis Vega’s charts are intensely revealing. “Lu”, Praise God! And thanks for your persistence. Seeing you post more will encourage people to seek out your work. People should, and be prepared to spend some time, especially if you are a visual learner. It’s great to see Marilyn Agee back in the saddle posting more frequently. Randy, your perspective is such an interesting contrast between the current world and pursuits of the Spirit.

I know these thoughts are from my perspective, but I hope this is a helpful offering, having stepped away for a while. In my case, the “rest” lasted about one day. The Lord took me through an intense time of discovery and research. Some of the details I will share in another post. In this context I will emphasize that what I was finding was a series of days, connected to scripture that were overwhelming. Many of these days seeming to be possible rapture days. Information came so fast that I knew I could not write about it in an orderly way, nor did I feel compelled to write. I was surprised, why the discovery without an urgency to share? Finally, after over three weeks the focus shifted and I really stepped away. Then came a storm in other aspects of my life. You know the story, in your own form…

One thought strengthened in me is that finding pieces of the puzzle can be real, but our first conclusion of their meaning can still be faulty. While I was following my latest research, I knew the Holy Spirit was leading me. Details were coming easily and quickly, and fitting together. I was actually able to predict what I would find next a couple of times. Still, at the same time I knew it could not all represent the meaning in my mind, which was the rapture. There was too much. I could easily have written about several dates in that thinking, but was not led to. Now, I have the deeper understanding without the burden of drawing a conclusion. Let God.

Overall, I see a convergence of most watchers and original researchers in their understanding of the times. Not that we have total agreement, but we can see over us the nudging of the Spirit. For now, we are covered in Christ; soon we will truly be perfected by Him. Amen.

Remember that every day we wait, evil is frustrated and it’s time shortened.
