             Thank you for writing back to me.

You proposed things that I never thought of, or heard of, before.

First, I should have pointed out that I wasn’t even thinking of the blessed hope (rapture), when I was writing.

I was only thinking about Jesus catching his enemies off guard.

I’m basically pre-trib, so I wouldn’t have even mentioned Revelation 16:15 in light of the blessed hope in the 1st place.

 

As to red letter editions, I don’t use them.

I believe that every single word of the 66 books of the Bible are his words, because he is the LORD, the Almighty, himself.

Even when he is quoting the lie of the devil, in the garden, in Genesis 3:4, penned down by the hand of Moses, it is an inspired record of what was said by the serpent.

The lie was not inspired, but the record of the account, is.

 

As to Luke talking about them being gathered to Armageddon, I’ve also thought that way, too.
