"RE: John Tng: 08.17.13: tetrads"

John,

             I find myself amazed again.

Not only am I amazed at the mathematical patterns, conclusions, and coincidences, but more so with how & why.

How did you even think to consider these things and to look for these patterns, in the first place?

The second thing I may have somewhat of an idea about, though.

And that is “why?” Why were you sure that you could find these precise mathematical relationships?

Is it like Newton, who figured that the laws governing the LORD’s creation must be as orderly and understandable as the LORD’s word?

(btw – how opposite is that from the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle?)

Did you approach this, knowing by faith, that you would find these patterns, conclusions & coincidences?

I have recommended to my Brother-in-law, to read your articles on the main page, as well as to follow the daily letters from people on FiveDoves.

I hope that he has done so, as I know that he is greatly intrigued with, and passionately admires, the mathematics of the LORD’s scriptures.

Some years back he was trying to develop a way to teach his children mathematics via the scriptures.

He was convinced, that not only arithmetic (adding, subtracting, multiplying & dividing), but higher forms of mathematics as well, can be taught from the scriptures.

At that time he hadn’t discovered it yet, but he knew that he could also teach algebra, geometry, trig, statistics, and even calculus, somehow, from the scriptures.

It must be there, because the same LORD, who’s creation is so clearly described by mathematics, also gave us his word.

Knowing that his thoughts are above our thoughts, like the heavens are above the earth, his word must hold untold treasures of his knowledge.

Anyway, I hope that my Brother-in-law has been studying what you, and others here on FiveDoves, have been finding in the scriptures, including your latest letter.

                          Thank you,

                                       Gino

Thanks, Gino. Frankly, I don't know how my mind works. I guess I am weird. :)
