"TH"

Terri Hill,
After a long absence, you are back again. Did I tell you before, that your writing is an inspiration, and so timely. A divinely sent messenger.

I wrote this the other day, for another site, but it has so much to do with your two letters. I did not have the time to finish and post it, but please tell me if this is where the Holy Spirit is leading you?

The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. (Rev. 3:21)
What this is saying to me is that we (Laodiceans) must overcome the seductions of the devil as Christ overcame them, who was fasting for 40 days, and then tempted with bread, health and vitality, and power/glory. This is different than what all the other churches had to overcome, In that none of them had to face the seduction that Jesus faced. It is our very riches and prosperity that will be held against us if we fail accept the Mark of the Beast. (Can't buy or sell)

It is also my belief that all of the Laodicean church will be spewed out, overcomers and those who do not overcome. This is by design, Part of God's plan. No rapture for those who are Laodiceans. But then why Overcome???

What is NOT said, in the letter to the Laodicean church, is that in order to overcome as Christ conquered, we must take up our cross and follow him, in all faith, and literally face death as a testimony of the redemptive work of Christ on the cross in our lives. It is the Laodicean overcomers that are called for this. A faith like unto the apostles, who counted the cost of discipleship, and left everything to follow Jesus.

I write this, because I am afraid that many in the churches are looking for tribulation as if it is calamity and distress, (which there will be) But in fact it is seduction and deception that will be employed to make people worship the beast. Is this not what Paul meant in the following passage:

3 While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. (1 Thess. 5:3-4)

Normalcy and prosperity, are the things that make up "peace and security." The man of lawlessness will bring this in before he suffers his Mortal wound...Then the rapture and the judgment of the church.
It is at that time, that those who have the eye salve will serve the Lord, bringing sight to the blind and overcoming by the Word of our testimony.

If there is a simple way to sum the above up, it is the words of Christ Jesus himself; "“My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”  (Matthew 26:39)

Or as Isaiah said: And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8,

This is the Only logical response that we should have to the Love of God for us. To heed his call, hear his voice, to do his will. Some overcomers will be raptured, others will face tribulation, and others will be witnesses, without having seen.

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to[c] his own glory and excellence,[d] by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. (2 Peter 1:3-4)
