Pride will cause you to see a lie "hence Gay pride".

 

Pride will cause you to not be able to receive your blessings or answers to prayer.  Because you overlaid the truth with pride and tainted the gift that was given with untruths to completely cover the gift with coverings of lies.  Pride will cause you to misread the charts - mix up the data - and come to wrong conclusions or deductions.  Pride will cause you to walk past your answers to prayers and dreams and think that they are not there.

 

When all is done and you see how you misinterpreted the truth and believed a lie you will wish you could go back to the beginning and do it again.  Your heart will melt -- will melt with the realization of the deception and the devastation that it caused in your life and in the life of those you love.

 

Pride will keep you from the annointing and the overwhelming sense of Gods goodness and the pouring out of His favor on your life.

 

Pride will create all kinds of confusion and misunderstanding as you misread the signs that point you to your proper destination.  Pride will have you going down the wrong path -- toward a precipice of mass destruction and deception.  You will walk over things that you should pick up - you will condemn things that you should be in compassion about.  You will judge things that you should be praying about.  You will lock down your own judgement into false imaginations and be kept in the dark about the true and the worthy and the faithful.  You will stop your ears from being able to hear God.  The messages that God sends will go right over your head.  You will not have the direction, the comfort, the deep seated contentment that those that walk without pride have.

 

Pride will shut you out from hearing the conversation of heaven and the voice of God.  Those that walk in pride will not see the Son of Man coming in the clouds to take them to their rightful home.  Pride will cloud your vision and you will not be able to see your purpose here in life or the purpose that you were put here for or the purpose and calling in the whole universal scheme of things.

 

Pride will cause you to misread the blueprint for your life.  Pride will make you to give up the gift of your inheritance for a pot of soup.  Pride will cloud your vision, dull your hearing, and confuse the synaps of your mind.  It will keep you from the Kingdom and the eternal gift of your heavenly home.

 

Pride will conjure up all sorts of mixed messages you will see things that are not there, you will hear things that are not true, you will listen to the deceiver when he whispers false messages.  You will not know the heart of another, because truth will not let you see into another's heart when you cant find it to look into your own.  You will cause others to stumble because of pride in that they will not be understood correctly through your eyes, which will cause frustration and pain.

 

Pride is disdainful and contemptible.  It gives no room for the grace mercy and kindness of God to shine forth. 

 

Pride is a dangerous element - it will cause you to weep one day at the ignorance the sheer stupidity that caused so much pain and destruction in your life and in the life of others.

 

Instead of pride - try patience.  Patience will give you the ability to have long vision - to not judge - because God is the faithful and true judge.  Patience will give you the ability to allow others to change improve and go the extra mile in their walk without the shackles of you judging them as an added burden to their task.

 

Repent now and turn around !  God can forgive all our pride when we humbly come and ask Him.

 

Ecclesiastes 7:8

 

Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof:  and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
