We have a huge pumpkin patch growing in the back yard this year.  Irony is, we planted pumpkins seeds three years ago and they all died.  We've never planted them again.  Around the first of August we noticed the pumpkin patch was growing and is large, beautiful, and healthy.  The kids love it, they are all excited.....but.....i thought pumpkins had to be planted every year.  I guess not.
