I look to many days, mostly the next with anticipation for the
Rapture.  Here is one reason for Rosh Hashanah...

It is said that Adam & Eve sinned on Rosh Hashanah (also man's
birthday).  As such, death entered in on this day.  It seems fitting
then that death would be defeated on this day....the Rapture is the
defeat of death...it is "avoided"
