Where Does the devil Hang Out?

Hmmm.  In the bars or other places where sin is so evident?  Hmmm.  Maybe not.  He just lets his demons go to these places.  That's their hang out.  He doesn't have to hang around there.  These places are already full of people headed to be with him for eternity.

Well then where does he hang out?

Maaaaaaybe Church?

Sounds like the perfect place!  A place where the gospel is preached and salvation is offered.  He can't have that!  NOOOOOO!  And how can he stop it?  Hmmm.  Division?  Ah YES!  Slander and gossip?  Yes again.  Let the church have the reputation of being a bunch of hypocrites and no one will want to step inside and hear the Good News of God's salvation through Jesus Christ.

Hey!  He needs to get to the preacher even more so.  Let him preach untruths.  Yes even better.  Let's keep the congregation under condemnation and let's make them work harder to earn their salvation.  "Sin.  Sin.  Sin.  If you work hard enough you can make it."  While they are so busy feeling condemned and working to become better Christians, they will loose their peace and joy.  Can't have Christians out in the world with their lights shining.  It's too noticeable.  Let's make them look like everyone else, troubled and worried, trying to get by, struggling day by day, just like everyone else.

If that doesn't work let's just tell the people they can do anything they please and they will be forgiven.  "Live it up!  Sin.  Sin.  Sin.  All is forgiven."  Oh how the devil grins.
 
Yes!  Let's take the Word away from them.  They don't need to know the truth.  They can't have such a dangerous weapon against the devil.  If they don't know the Word, it will be even easier to bring them down.  Oh how the devil just hates the Christian who stops him dead in his tracks when they stand in faith believing the Word.

OH DEVIL, YOU THINK YOU ARE SO CLEVER, but we have your number!  JESUS IS ALIVE AND WELL AND YOU HAVE BEEN DEFEATED!  Your time is up!  Scripture is about to be fulfilled with Jesus' soon return and you will be sent to your place for eternity.  Yes devil.  Go to Hell!  That's the place God made for you and your demons.  We have had enough.  No more lies!  We will stand with the truth of the Word and darkness will be turned into light.

Come Lord Jesus. Come.
