Not sure if this would help at this time or not, but it was written by a Christian nurse and one of the items in here concerns Johanna Brandt and her grape cure. Can you juice fresh grapes and can she get that down? Johanna did use that to bring people back that were at death's door. The same is true of  Essiac Tea. Can she get that down, or juices with chlorophyll like wheat grass juice, barley green, spinach juice??? The same is true of Johanna Budwig's formula that is also in the book.
