Nicole - IMHO - what this is referring to is about the people running off the rooftops and not even stopping to take anything from their homes when they are running for their lives from the AC. God is saying that this will be such a terrible time for mothers who have little babies that normally would be breast feeding their infants --- because there will be no time! They won't even have that much time to pause and feed the baby - they will be on the run for their lives! Not only that, but how difficult it will be for moms with babies in their arms to be on the run! And can you imagine? You don't take the mark and the baby starves. How many mothers could bear to watch their babies starve? Or Fathers?
