I am very much in agreement with your theory.
Like you I see the time period of 5771-5772 (2011-2012) as very significant as I cannot remember a period when all watchers were on such an intensive HIGH WATCH ALL YEAR LONG!
This seems to be a first- I also struggled after last year on Rosh Hashanna since with all the signs in the heaven and on earth (UN voting on a Palestinian state membership, the sign of Virgo and Elenin lining up on Rosh Hashanna) it seemed as if last year was it.
Through my personal struggle as to why all the signs and yet no rapture I have determined that all these things could not be mere coincidence and perhaps represented a sign as a 1 yr warning.
I am trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I am fasting in this period leading up to Rosh Hashanna and will sound the shofar each day as well - as Mark Blitz also taught, the sound of the shofar is also the sound of our crying out for help from God.
