Dear John Tng and all Beloved Doves.
Nearly 10 days ago on RITAN I called all watchers to join with me in a 40 day fast leading up to Rosh Hashanna that perhaps we could move the heart of God to finally delay no further and send His Son to gather us.

Now that Av is almost over and sadly it seems as if the Kaduri prophecy of His return in Av will not come to pass- it seems ever more important that we fast and pray in the month of Elul, the month of repentance.

Joel 1:14-15 says Consecrate a FAST call a sacred assembly; gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God and cry out to the LORD. Alas for the day! For the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as destruction from the Almighty.

Joel 2:15-16 says Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a FAST call a sacred assembly; gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing babes; LET THE BRIDEGROOM GO OUT FROM HIS CHAMBER, AND THE BRIDE FROM HER DRESSING ROOM.

I invite all doves to fast along with me and those participating on RITAN through the next 30 days.
I am personally observing this fast by giving up solid foods and my only nutrition for the past 9 days as well as the next 31 to come has been juice, milk, coffee and the like. I have done a fast like this twice befor in my life and am able to do this - but I caution everyone be safe medically.

If anyone cannot fast traditionally by giving up food do a "Daniel type fast" give up "pleasant foods" like sweets or try giving up TV or something else.

If you feel like the next 30 days is too long for you -try a smaller committment - fast 7 of the next 30 or 3 of the next 30 or even 1 day of the next 30.

I have called this fast and would like to see as many watchers as possible committed in some way to this.  We all know the world is diseased with sin and rebellion and we all know the only cure is MESSIAH NOW!  Just as Moses interceded for Israel and touched God's heart, may it be that the fastings and prayers of the watchers will do the same and move God once again to bless us with His Son!
