Hello, John and Doves,
Here is what we need to
consider:
"And shall go out to deceive the nations which
are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and
Magog, to gather them together to battle: the
number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea."
So, "Gog and Magog" could
be translated, "mountain and overtopping."
In this context, John the
Revelator could be divinely referring to "Turkey and
parts north," all with respect to Israel, the
center of the Earth.
A few references:
In this sc, "Gog" could be
a reference to the king of the land whose borders
enclose the actual mountain where Noah landed the
Ark. In that case, the overtopping of the king
would be an emperor.
Likewise, another layer of
meaning may well be that "Gog and Magog" both refer to
the only mountain in the world that has a covering of
black that signifies where the LORD passed by Moses,
whom He hid in the cleft of the rock. [Exodus 33:22]
This puts the focus on Jabal al Lawz.
It is quite possible that
Ezekiel 38:2 will be fulfilled both before and after
the thousand year reign of Yeshua Ha Mashiach [Revelation
20 KJV]
Conclusion: "Gog and
Magog" most definitely refer to Turkey and parts
north. "Gog and Magog" also refer together to
Jabal al Lawz.

"To all Doves
re Magog"
Dear Dove family
Today I took a nap and woke up saying "oh, so that's the
answer". I had a "thinking dream" that was telling me
people have been misguided into thinking Magog is Russia
when it is Turkey.
I'm praying about this but wanted some input. Turkey
also lies to the north and is largely Islamic. They're a
NATO member and they are growing in power. They were
once the seat of the Ottoman Empire.
I've been wondering about Putin lately as he seems to
have the best grip on what's actually going on and
wonder if he's not the enemy at all? I know he's a
devout Christian who attends church each Sunday- Russian
orthodox I would suppose. Have we been misled into
thinking Russia are "the bad guys"?
Any insight or input appreciated.
God bless,
Susan in Aussie land
