In re the article at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2012/edwardf81.htm , I chceked and there is no legitimate way to spell “Soetero” in Hebrew to add up to 666. The article alleging Soetero = 666 spelled his name as “SAMECH, VAV, TAV and RESH” (סותר) but did not account for the “o” at the end of his name and put no Hebrew letter there to represent the “o” sound. Most people, using this as a basis, would probably spell his name as “SAMECH, VAV, TAV, RESH, HEY” (סותרה) because the last syllable has to be accounted for in the spelling somehow. Some people might choose an ALEF(א) instead of a HEY (or סותרא), but SOMETHING has to go there.
This would have meaning as a Hebrew word. “סותר” would mean “He who refutes, disturbs, upsets, etc”. Adding a HEY to the end (“סותרה”) would be the feminine form of the same name.
