Never a replacement theology! I inserted then in verse 26. Salvation came to everybody at the same time when Jesus arose on the third day. Many Jews believed and were given the commission to take it to the world. Jesus used the Jew to spread the gospel. The pagan could only spread mythology. ;-) I think Daniel realized how God was going to do it and why he got sick from the vision in Daniel 8:27.
Romans 11:25-30 "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. [26] And so [then] all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: [27] For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. [28] As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. [29] For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. [30] For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:"
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 2:10 "But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:"
Isaiah 61:10-11 "I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations" [Jew and Gentile].
There is no replacement theology: Salvation came to all nations. First to the Jewish nation where the government rejected Jesus, but many accepted and took it to the Gentiles. Where is the replacement? That's my take on it. JFH
