I wanted so much to reply to Mike, the brother who initially posted,
yet could not have done so as thoroughly, and so well grounded in scripture!
Yes, thank our Lord, the sign gifts are for now---when we need them, on a daily--hourly!--basis.
There are so many brothers and sisters here on 5 Doves who are "baptized in the Holy Spirit",
who are "Spirit-filled"
and who do speak--even if only privately-- in their prayer language-- or "in other tongues".
Mike stated:

To say this, Mike, is to criticize what you don't understand,
in a way that could well be hurtful to those of us who differ from your own view, yet also love and serve our Lord!
Please re-think the unkind way in which you worded this post?
We are not deluded or a threat in any way to those of you who do not believe these gifts are for today.
If you don't want those gifts, you won't have to receive them.
(We all understand that this doesn't mean you are not saved and rapture-ready!)I have personally witnessed healings, and am blessed by testimonies I read,
the words God has spoken to others who read the posts on 5 Doves.It is one of the reasons I love this site--
the openness toward sharing these words, these miracles...
Do you believe then, Mike, that these words from the Lord
--in dreams and visions--are also from "the great deceiver"? (After all, these are extra-Biblical.....)
