"Answer virgin parable
Jew or Church"
Answer virgin parable Jew or Church
I think this is the answer of the persons in the parable of the
ten virgins; both.
This parable is a meeting in time and spiritual condition
between those observing the law and those receiving
mercy/grace/redemption from Christ. Those in an active
relationship through the Holy Spirit have oil ready and lamp
burning. When the time nears for the bridegroom coming,
all ten look for Him. However, five went to buy more oil,
representing reconciliation to the Father. The Jews
receive their sin covering by sacrifices which must be
purchased, or through traditions of men. Jesus condemned
the traders at the Temple as a den of thieves. They were
selling the sacrificial objects required by the Pharisees to be
reconciled to God. They were “thieves” not because they
were cheating materially, but because they offered a false
reconciliation to the Father; One not in keeping with the heart
of God. “I desire mercy, not sacrifice”.
