"I ask prayer for this
great gal; my friend Edwina"
Dear John and Dear Doves,
I am requesting prayer for a very dear friend of
mine. She posts on Doves so you, that read Edwina's
letters, know that she is so very special. I may not get
everything written exactly correct; in fact I am sure I
won't but I am going to try to cover a bit of what
is going on with her.
Edwina has told how she is facing a battle with Cancer. In
fact, this past week, she found out that she is now in stage 4,
the last stage of her Bone Cancer. She had Breast Cancer,
surgery in the recent past and then faced the sickening aspects
of Chemo. Meanwhile, she had booked a reservation to go to
Israel but then came down with Avian Flu but she would not let
that stop her. Through her weakened, sick condition, she
made the trip. One of her favorite places was where King
David's Tomb is located. You see, Edwina plays a Harp,
like Rowina who lives in New Mexico, does also. But it is
her journey in finding the Lord Yeshua that was full of
tales. Edwina, has had a full life in her search for a
closer relationship with God. She became a nun in the
Catholic Church. She left the convent and moved into her
own quarters. Her giant harp got moved into the local
church, where she decorated it on special Feast days.
Never one to just sit back and accept things done....even though
carried out by the local priest.....she once took a chain saw
after a cross that an Irish priest put up that was pure
blasphemy in her eyes.
Edwina was told in an audible voice, "I Am Coming Soon".
That stirred her so much, she printed out letters to Bishops all
over the UK wanting to know why the message of the soon return
of Yeshua HaMashiach was not being preached in the
churches. Only one priest even responded to her letter.
As I said, Edwina is now in the last stage of this cancer in her
Chest Bones and Hip and the pain is over-whelming for her
YET she doesn't slow down, putting in whatever strength the Holy
Spirit gives to her. She told, in one of her letters, how
much she appreciated the information about Nirubu appearing
closer and closer that had been written on Doves. She
printed and printed and printed some more copies to hand
out. Her natural sisters, upon hearing of her failing
health came to visit her this past week-end. Edwina
believed that they had agreed to spend time passing out fliers
with her this past Saturday. However, when they came, they
told her that they had a bit of trouble with doing
that. They read the flier and told her that they had
trouble with the word "Repent", a bit old fashion in their eyes,
they informed her. I believe that they agreed to take her
to the streets as a favor but they did not help her pass them
out. They stood at the other end of the street as she, in
her weakened condition did as much as she was able, finally
having to go to the car where she broke down: she cried and
cried from the disappointment of it all. They, then,
eventually returned to their homes. But that isn't
all.
She has a little doggie, Daisy, whom she has had for 12 years,
her constant companion. Here are Edwina's own words
regarding her little pet. Daisy has not been well for some
time, fatty lumps and this growth on her spinal cord...making
her lose control of her back legs? And walking on her front of
the foot...which kept her going backwards as it got worse. Then
her breathing had gone strange and stuff, anyway, this morning
she began stoking? So I knew she was leaving us. So I stayed
with her and as she tried to cope I called the vet emergency AND
he gave her an anesthetic to help her go instead of
suffering..so as I held her paws and held her face in my hands
she gave her last breath....
That still isn't all. Yesterday, she had the Under-taker
come to the house to make all the arrangements for her casket,
including Lillies from her own garden to be placed on it.
Despite all of Edwina's pain, she took care of all the various
details, having to sell her car to pay for it all so she
hopes it will sell quickly. Because of her weakened
condition and inability to even go out in her wheelchair to hand
out fliers, she has hired a woman to go door to door and deliver
the 1,000 remaining Imminent Rapture. The
Under-taker did not leave her home empty handed. He was
given a copy of that rapture that is almost here plus her own
words of the Eternal Hope that is in us that repent and believe
upon the Lord Yeshua haMashiach.
Edwina is a woman that just doesn't talk the talk but walks the
walk and I consider it a humbling privilege to have meet
Edwina. She, like all of us, is praying for the Rapture to
happen before she gets called home the other way. Her life
has not been easy but through it all, she has grown spiritually
stronger in her race to the finish line.
Please pray for Edwina. Ahhhhhh! If you knew
Edwina like I know Edwina.....what a gal.
