Dearest Susan,  Is it any wonder you can relate so well to my request for Edwina.  I have been praying for your sister.  I pray that during the time she must remain here, all pain be removed from her.  I recall the stories of the martyrs in Fox's Book of Martyrs and some how, some way, they did not experience the awful pain just prior to be taken home to their Lord so we do know that God has mercy in that regard.  While this is so hard for both your mother and you, I join you in praying for no pain what so ever and soon total release.  Plus may you both know the Peace that Knoweth No Understanding.  My heart hurts yet hopes for you Susan.  Love, Gerlinda Susan B (17 Aug 2012) "Prayer request- my sister; terminal cancer" Dearest Dove family I'd be grateful for prayer support for my sister; Christine Joy Tilley- now in the end stages of terminal cancer. Her pain levels are horrendous and as one tumour is in her sternum that's pushing on her lungs making breathing difficult. They live in the beautiful rural Adelaide Hills and thankfully she's receiving palliative care at home rather than a hospital. This is very hard to bear- my Mum could use prayer support also simply that she copes with this. They won't give a time frame but either days or weeks. My prayer is that our precious Lord relieve her of the burden of immense suffering- its been too long and she has remained steadfast in her faith. Finally I could use prayer also- my eldest sister has been like a second Mum to me and it all feels terribly surreal.
