I had to chuckle at I think Renee's post on hearing a shofar I have done the same sort of! How few of us there are! I think it's Gods way of keeping us on track! I had a similar experience! See the truth of the bible is a bitter pill that tastes like honey but then is bitter in the stomach! There's a reason most people avoid the bible and the study of Gods word! They will go to church sing hyms listen to soothing sermons! They know John 3:16! The reason is that the bible basically is a pill with a bitter aftertaste! You see Gods word to save us and redeem us it has to kill the infection of the world in us! We have to die to our pride, our selfs, our vision of the future and wants and put on Jesus desire to serve and love God and others! It's a bitter pill to those living for a future here! Because the bible basically says love for this world and things of this world and you will die spiritually and for real! If we through Jesus truth the word and the light it shines on the darkness of this world crucify our worldly pride and desires we live with Jesus through His resurection! It's hard impossible in our flesh to do that's why Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit! But we have to take the pills His word and walk in the spirit regularly to get well! It's a process for eternity! I got the vision of the dress I was ready to go and I am still here! Crestfallen another gee another date has come time from my wife I don't want to hear more! She does I do! You see I think that we may have another forty five days or less! Blessed is he who survives the 1335 days has really personal meaning for our generation it seems! Do you know how easily I slipped back into the routine of ok shopping for school better get those new shoes and boots I may need them for a camping trip in a few weeks! One sad note outdoors people never have enough shoes what's right for one trip is wrong for the next! I repent of this yet again! I am in like a loop of He is imminently coming look up and well another date has past I am crestfallen and well better prepare if we are here longer what may happen! You know sites christian sites are saying buy food and water my gut says we cannot prepare for what's coming but maybe some left behind or for what is coming until He comes! It all comes down to this the Lord makes us lie down and wake up! The final truth which keeps welling up like bitter medicine in me because I took the red pill is that all this vanity comes to nothing it will be as chaff in the wind! What everyone sees and walks in as reality is truly a matrix God knows the end from the beginning the work of our hands changes nothing! So really Jesus is the way the truth and the light unless we are walking in His light and truth taking the bitter pill of the word that's killing our pride and our vanity the false reality of this world will consume us! I pray for Godliness with contentment! This world and it's lies keep trying to entangle me only the bitter truth that it's a lie keeps me from consuming it! Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem the only reason the world seems normal and going on though it's not is because the bride is still here! Jesus is coming soon the bible says what seems real is not and what does not seem real is! That's the truth and it's a bitter pill we have to swollow every day to live! Focus on the heavenly not on earthly things those are what matters! I am telling myself as much as all of you! Please Jesus let your Dover watching and praying not be ashamed let us fly!
