"On "replacement
theology"....another error in the Church..."
Thanks for bringing
up the subject of "Replacement Theology" that is in some of
today's church buildings. I think this is one of the
most misunderstood concepts by most people in the body of
Christ. But once it becomes clear, everything else falls
into place. I found a wonderful article that uses
commentaries many of us have read in the past....A.W. Pink,
Matthew Henry, Matthew Poole, David Chilton, Dr. Curtis
Crenshaw...etc.
One sentence stuck me as hitting the nail on the head on this
subject: ".....Yet there are those who still want to
insist that God has two separate people: Old Testament
Israel and the Church." God does not have TWO people
appointed to salvation. All who come to faith through
Jesus Christ are saved (Jews and Gentiles). This article
explains it very well:

A piece of this article:
"The Church is Israel. This does not mean that the
Church replaced Israel, nor does it mean that a natural Jew
cannot be grafted back into the true Israel. They can,
but only by bending a knee to the Lordship of Jesus
Christ. God established Abraham and promised to bless
his seed, and all those who believe like Abraham God reckons
their faith as righteousness. They become children of
the promise given to Abraham, the children of God."
I believe this is very important for us to know in order to
reach all the yet unsaved Jews. If we believe that they
will be saved irregardless of their status "in Christ" at this
time, we are badly in error. They have to be saved ju!
st as Gentiles have to be saved....now! If we believe
that AFTER the Tribulation begins, God will again turn to the
Jews and all will be saved.....we are wrong. Now is the
day of salvation....II Cor.6:2.
