Hi Deb and all the Doves,
Yes - I often have these thoughts - I wonder how much of my longing for the Rapture is a longing to escape this world - which holds no joy for me whatsoever.
But - we are very human Deb and Jesus having walked as a human understands and feels our emotions.  It is normal for us to want to come out of a world where we look around and can no longer feel that we "fit in".
I just gently acknowledge this to the Lord during my prayer time and tell Him that as much as I want to "go home" I also want to meet Him...because that is the truth....and I think that would be the truth in your heart also.
