If the current mixed signals coming out of Iran are not coordinated deceptions, then the forces are in a state of disarray.
If they, themselves, are not sure who is in charge national and military decisions, then things have broken down significantly.
If this continues to worsen, and spiral out of control, could differing factions begin to be at odds with one another?
Could that then devolve into civil war?
Can US or Israeli intelligence possibly stir the pot, to help stoke any paranoia like that, which may be happening in Iran?
Could they help cause distrust, and division, between differing elements of the IRGC?
Could that further weaken the Islamic state, increasing the possibility & success of civilian revolt against the IRGC & the radical Shiites?
