We have NHK news channel.  All day today, an alert is being put out by the Japanese meteorologists, warning of an impending megaquake.  MEGA quake!!  Which means 8.0 or higher. The alert has been issued to northern and eastern Japan. 182 cities, towns and villages are on high alert. I have tried to google further news but it seems that only the Japanese channel - NHK - is covering this at present.
