"TO CHANCE -- Why The Armies Surrounding Jerusalem Are Not The Abomination of Desolation"

In your past posts you have always presented "the abomination of desolation" as being the armies compassing or surrounding Jerusalem in Luke 21:20 while the word "abomination" is not mentioned in that verses shown below:

Luke 21:20-21, "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to themountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto."

According to Mathew 24:15-16, Jesus said, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:"
The armies standing in the area surrounding the city of Jerusalem would not be standing in a holy place outside the city of Jerusalem or in "the holy place" in the temple because the land area outside of Jerusalem was not considered a holy place. While the city of Jerusalem was called a holy city in the Bible as shown in the Bible verses below, the article below will explain why the land outside of the city of Jerusalem was not considered holy;.

The article Golgotha – Why was Jesus crucified outside the city? – Mark Barnes states "Jews associate holiness and purity with places. So it was outside the city where the unclean was dealt with (e.g. Leviticus 14:33-45). The holiest place was, of course, the temple. But Jerusalem itself was considered to be a holy city (Nehemiah 11:1Isaiah 52:1Matthew 4:5, etc.). That meant that certain things shouldn’t take place within the city’s walls. Everything impure should be done outside or taken there. At the time of Jesus, some Jews (the Essenes) even forbade defecating within the city. They had to go 3,000 cubits outside the city, which is nearly a mile. And we think having a privy in the garden is difficult!" FULL ARTICLE at above link.

Topical Bible: Unclean Place Outside the City states, "The unclean place outside the city symbolizes the separation between holiness and impurity. In the ancient Israelite community, maintaining ritual purity was essential for worship and communal life. The camp or city represented a holy space where God's presence dwelled, and anything that could defile it was to be kept at a distance."

Therefore, the area surrounding Jerusalem was not considered a holy place that "the abomination of desolation" would be standing in so the armies surrounding Jerusalem outside of it can not be the abomination of desolation.

Also Jesus words in Luke 21:20 DO NOT SAY when ye shall see the armies INSIDE the city of Jerusalem, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the the mountains;   He said the armies would be surrounding Jerusalem. Jesus' wordsrecorded in Matt. 24:15-16 also cannot be changed to say when you see the abomination of desolation stand in the unholy place because he said it would be standing in "the holy place." The truth of God's words cannot be changed. The Bible passages below affirm that God's Word is not subject to change.

Psalm 119:89 declares, "Your word, O LORD, is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens." .

Titus 1:2 says, "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;"

Hebrew 6:18 says, "That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:"

Of course, the Antichrist's army will invade the glorious land of Israel in the future (Daniel 11:41), but his army in the future and those in 70 A.D. were not and will not be standing in "the holy place" outside of Jerusalem because the area of the land outside and surrounding Jerusalem is not considered holy. According to KJV Search Results for "the" AND "holy" AND "place" there are 44 EXACT verses listed using the phrase "the holy place" in the Bible which was "the holy place" before the veil of the most holy place in the tabernacle and later on inside the temples when they were built in Jerusalem. In Jesus' own words in Matthew 24:15-16, He said, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let themwhich be in Judaea flee into the mountains:" Jesus' words mean the abomination of
desolation will stand in "the holy place" in a temple in the future which has yet to be built.
