you
stated that the "daily sacrifice"
was stopped by Antiochus
IV Epiphanes depicted in
Daniel 8:13 & 11:31
and the sanctuary in the
Temple was desecrated.
You all stated that
Daniel 12:11 shown below
was to happen during the
"last days."
Daniel
12:11, "And from the
time that the
daily sacrifice shall
be taken away, and the
abomination that
maketh desolate set
up, there shall
be a
thousand two
hundred and
ninety days."
The Antichrist will
take away the daily
sacrifice (Daniel
12:11) and the False
Prophet will have
the people make the
image of the beast
that will be set up
(Rev.
13:14-15).
However, please note
that the words "daily sacrifice" in
Daniel 12:11
are the same
words used in
Daniel 8:13
& in 11:31
in which
Antiochus IV
Epiphanes
stopped and
took away the
"daily sacrifice"
in the
sanctuary in
the temple so
I don't see
suddenly why
the meaning of
"daily sacrifice"
in Daniel
12:11 to
"daily prayers"
is possible as
you
think.
In my 3/11
post WHY THE THIRD TEMPLE WILL BE BUILT & DAILY
SACRIFICES
RESTARTED I
stated the
following:
Below are Daniel
8:13 & 11:31
showing the exact same
words of "daily sacrifice"
as Daniel 12:11 that
is to be done in the
"last days."
Daniel
8:13, "Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto
that certain saint which
spake, How
long shall
be the
vision concerning the
daily sacrifice, and
the transgression of
desolation, to
give both
the sanctuary and
the host to
be trodden under
foot?"
Daniel
11:31, "And
arms shall
stand on
his part, and
they shall
pollute the
sanctuary of
strength, and
shall take away the
daily sacrifice, and
they shall place the
abomination that
maketh
desolate."
"The
Daily Sacrifice, also
known as the
"continual burnt
offering," was a
central element of the
worship practices in
ancient Israel, as
prescribed in the
Mosaic Law. This
ritual is detailed in
the Pentateuch and was
a vital part of the
sacrificial system
that underscored the
Israelites' covenant
relationship with
God." MORE INFO about
it at above link.
The meaning of the
"daily sacrifice"
over the years has not
suddenly changed to
"daily prayers"
as
you suggested.
You
also stated the
following:
"Daniel
12:11 is fulfilled
during the "Last
Days". The
daily is taken away
and the abomination
that maketh desolate
occurs. Luke
tells us the
abomination that
leads to
desolation is
the surrounding of
Jerusalem by
armies. No
mention of
'polluting the
sanctuary' or about
a sanctuary at
all. And no
mention of a
temple."
Please
note that Luke
21:10 shown
below does not
tell us the
abomination of
desolation is
the
surrounding of
Jerusalem by
armies because
there is no
mention of the
word
"abomination"
in this verse
although
the city of
Jerusalem will
be surrounded
by armies as
the Lord Jesus
stated in this
verse before
they enter
into
Jerusalem.
Luke
21:10 "And when ye
shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is
nigh."
However,
both Matthew 24:15
& Mark 13:14
both are referring
back to Daniel
12:11 as shown
below:
Daniel
12:11, "And from
the time that the daily sacrifice shall
be taken away, and the
abomination that
maketh desolate set
up, there
shall be a
thousand two
hundred and
ninety days."
It was
the Lord Jesus who
said according to
Matthew 24:15, "When ye
therefore shall
see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the
holy place, (whoso
readeth, let
him
understand:)"
The Lord Jesus
knew that the
holy place was
inside the
tabernacle and
later on inside
the temple which
is backed by all
the Bible verses
at KJV Search Results for "the" AND "holy" AND "place" The
holy place was
just before
the veil to
the most holy
place also
known as the
Holy of Holies
were the high
priest went
once a year to
atone for the
people's sins
on the day of
atonement also
called Yom
Kippur.
Mark
13:14, "But when ye
shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of
by Daniel the prophet, standing where it
ought not, (let
him that
readeth understand,) then let
them that be
in Judaea flee to the mountains:
"
It
is inside "the
holy place"
before the
veil leading
into the most
holy place
that the
abomination of
desolation
will stand or
be set up
which leads me
to believe
that the
abomination of
desolation
will most
likely be the
image of
beast,
Antichrist,
that everyone
must worship
or be killed.
