"TO CHANCE:  The Great Tribulation Such As Was Not Since The Beginning Of The World To This Time, Nor Ever Shall Be"

Thank you for your gracious reply of 4/10 titled Donna Danna: "To Chance: DAILY PRAYERS OR DAILY SACRIFICE STOPPED & TAKEN AWAY IN THE LAST DAYS?" in which you pointed out that there were Doves at 5doves that have different viewpoints other than your own. While you believe no temple will be built before the return of the Lord Jesus and the "daily taken away" may be daily prayers in Daniel 12:11, I still believe it is the daily sacrifices taken away that will be taken away from the temple to be built envisioned in Rev. 11:1-2.

As for the destruction of a third temple which is not mentioned in the Bible, when Jesus returns and plants his feet on the Mount of Olives, it splits in half from east to west (Zech. 14:4) which likely will destroy the temple at that time since the Third Temple would be directly west of it. Also if Ezekiel 38:20 is part of this same scenario, all the fish in the sea, all the birds in heaven, and the all men and beasts on Earth are going to shake at the Lord's presence with all the mountains being thrown down, the steep places falling, and all the walls falling down which would include the Third Temple's walls.

Also thank you for pointing out the Bible passage in Luke 21:5-6 in which Jesus stated, "And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, "As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down" which happened in 70 A.D. when the Roman army invaded Jerusalem as you stated in your above post.

According to Luke 21:24, Jesus also stated,"And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." This also happened in 70 A.D. when the Jews were dispersed into the Roman empire according to the article at Captivities of the Israelites | Catholic Answers Encyclopedia  and Jerusalem was to be trodden down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Israel became a nation again on 5/14/1948 but Jerusalem will be once again trodden down by the Gentiles (Rev. 11:1-2) when the Antichrist reigns in Israel for 1,260 days or 3 1/2 yearsThis is all is to take place prior to Jesus' 2nd coming to Earth (Luke 21:25-27).

Although Luke 21 appears to have happened in 70 A.D., in my opinion Matthew 24 is futuristic and has not yet happened. According to Matthew 24:15 the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel in Daniel 12:11, would stand in "the holy place" which Jesus knew to be the area in the temple before the Holy of Holies also called the most holy place. The "the holy place" is first recorded in Exodus 26:33 which was at that time in the tabernacle and later on in Solomon's temple & in Herod's temple.

The in the following verses of Matthew 24:16-20, Jesus tells the Judeans to flee to the mountains when the abomination stands in "the holy place" and pray that their flight wouldn't be in winter or on a sabbath. Then according to Matthew 24:21-22, Jesus said, "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for theelect's sake those days shall be shortened." It sounds like the time of Jacob's trouble in Daniel 12:1-2, "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

As you know the great tribulation is also mentioned in Revelation 7:14 about the saints which came out of great tribulation. The combination of the 7 seals being opened which include the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse bringing the
Antichrist, worldwide war, famine and death and those saints being martyred that won't worship the image of the beast along with the 7 trumpet judgments and the 7 vials or bowls of wrath will bring "great tribulation." The wars may include nuclear destruction and/or biological destruction. It all sounds like great tribulation described in Matthew 24:21-22, ""For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened," and in Daniel 12:1-2, "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the greatprince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." The great tribulation of 1,260 days takes place before the Lord Jesus' 2nd coming to Earth, and the people at that time will be in greater tribulation and in greater distress than those in 70 A.D. when the Roman army invaded Jerusalem.   Luke 21:23 does say that there will be great distress in the land during this time when Jerusalem is surrounded by armies, but no where in Luke 21 does it say what Matthew 24:21-22 says, ""For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."
Also in my opinion, I think the abomination of desolation that the prophet Daniel (Daniel 12:11) spake of standing in "the holy place" according to Jesus words in Matthew 24:15 and in Mark 13:14 is somewhat like the abomination of desolation when Antiochus Epiphanes IV erected a statue of Zeus on the altar to be worshipped which I think in Rev. 13:14-15 may very will be the image of the beast standing in "the holy place" of the temple that speaks and has to be worshipped by the people or they will be killed.
