Hello John and Doves,The Houthis have joined in the war with Iran. They have threatened to close the Strait of Bab al-Mandeb (known as the "Gate of Tears"). This would disrupt the shipping through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. They set a deadline for noon, looks like April 17, to start this process....At the end of March, the Houthis in Yemen officially joined Iran with their firing a barrage of missiles, including, ballistic missiles at southern IsraelThe Bab al-Mandab Strait is at the southern mouth of the Red Sea - blocking this would cut-off access to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal. This Strait at the southern end of the Red Sea, connects the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. This Strait has been vital to Saudi Arabia for shipping their oil - since the closing of the Strait of Hormuz.About 12% of global oil shipments pass through the Bab al-Mandab Strait. If the Houthis/Iranians- succeed in blocking this - this will be another blow to world economies that rely on energy from the Middle East.Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!Maranatha!Chance
