"The feast of Pentecost is connected in Scripture with the events at Mount Sinai"

The feast of Pentecost is connected in Scripture with the events at Mount Sinai.

Hello John and Doves,

Dear brothers and sisters, I would like to continue the previous teaching on the feast of Pentecost. For about 8 years now, we have been intensely looking forward to the coming of the Lord Jesus for the church, that is, our rapture into the clouds to the Lord. On the days of biblical feasts, the expectation of the rapture almost always increases. This has its own logic, because we know that the Lord Jesus fulfilled the first three feasts during the time of Passover, and exactly on the day of their celebration. Probably, the feast of Weeks is also fulfilled by Jesus, when he was taken up to heaven on this day (see the teaching on the feast of Weeks). From all this, it can be logically concluded that the other remaining feasts will also be fulfilled by Jesus personally, and exactly on the day of their celebration.

That is why I put such emphasis on the feast of Pentecost, because it is the next in line that awaits its fulfillment, and on the day of this feast. Pentecost is a feast mentioned in the Scriptures, and therefore, according to the Scriptures, it should be personally fulfilled by Jesus. Most Christians claim that only the Father knows when the rapture will be and therefore we cannot know the day. At the same time, they do not realize that the Father had that day written in the Scriptures in many different places in both the Old and New Testaments. I will teach about this gradually in the next few studies. No one needs to set a day because God Himself has set it in the Scriptures. The Scriptures clearly reveal and speak of the feast of Pentecost as the next in line and awaiting fulfillment. It is clear that the feast of Pentecost can only be fulfilled by the descent of the Lord into the clouds and the associated resurrection of the dead in Christ and the rapture of the saints who are waiting for and loving Christ’s coming.

Let us not play with God, brothers, let us fear God and not expect the day of the feast of Pentecost at a time when the day of the feast cannot be (spring, human tradition), let us not connect this feast with another feast (the feast of Weeks), let us not give God's feast of Pentecost another name (the feast of new wine) and let us not establish our own fixed day that is the same for every year in the Gregorian calendar. The Lord Jesus will not fulfill any feast of new wine, but only the feast of Pentecost established by God. In Acts, chapter two, there is evidence of this, the Holy Spirit was poured out at Pentecost. Scripture warns that we cannot play with God and that it is very dangerous to promote our views that are contrary to Scripture at all costs. We must realize that many of us are followed online by thousands of people who desire to know the truth. If we influence them with something that is not in accordance with Scripture, God will take it out of our hands. Some may object, I don’t have a church, so it doesn’t apply to me. That is not true, the word has power and we significantly influence God’s dear people through our teaching. In James it is written in James 3:1: “Do not be many teachers, my brothers; for you know that we will be judged more strictly.” These are important things, so please, before you make quick conclusions about this teaching, let the Word of God speak to you. This is not about some opinions, everyone can have their own, but about the Word of God. In the last study, it was clearly documented when the day of Pentecost is according to the Scriptures. I have a request for you, if you see that something of what I teach here is against the teachings of the Scriptures, I will be grateful if you write it to me so that I can think about it. I do not want to promote my views and opinions before God, but only the Word of God. If I were to be pointed out that some part of my teaching is inconsistent with the Scriptures and I also saw it, of course I will correct and explain it in the next study. However, please, in any suggestions for teaching about the feast of Pentecost, do not use the Septuagint, the Qumran Scrolls (Dead Sea Scrolls), various apocryphal writings, astronomical evidence, but only the exact Word of God. Thank you for your patience and understanding of these important emphases. So much for the introduction.

Now I will deal step by step with how the Scripture itself confirms this day of Pentecost and prophetically brings revelation about its fulfillment.

In the previous study, I already indicated the connection of the feast of Pentecost with the feast of Passover, when the people of Israel left Egypt. They traveled for two months to Mount Sinai and, according to the Scriptures, they arrived there on the 15th day of the third month. Why did God lead them through the pillar of cloud and fire for exactly two months? I believe that there is a prefiguration here of the two thousand years of the journey of the church, which the Lord is also leading now, through the cloud - His glory (anointing) and through fire - purification (sanctification). This day of the 15th of Sivan also comes out exactly for us if we take the first part of the calculation of the day of the feast of Pentecost according to the Scriptures.

Then the second part of the feast of Pentecost is counted and 50 days are counted. We know from Scripture that the events on Mount Sinai from the beginning to the first return of Moses from the mountain to the camp also lasted 50 days. God's actions on Mount Sinai were accompanied by supernatural manifestations. In the book of Exodus 19:10,11,16,19 it is written: "10 The Lord said to Moses, Go to the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow. Let them wash their clothes 11 and be ready against the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. 16 On the third day, when morning came, there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud sound of a ram's horn. All the people in the camp trembled. 19 As the sound of the ram's horn grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him with a loud voice."

Before Moses was called by God to go up the mountain and receive the tablets of the law, other people were called by God to the mountain to have fellowship with Him. After the above supernatural manifestations of God, not only Moses was called to the mountain, but also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. Nowhere else in the Bible do we find people seeing God face to face, even eating with Him, and not dying. I believe this is a type of the Lamb’s supper with the church, rapture up into heaven. In Exo 24:9-11 where it is written: “9 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu and seventy of the elders of Israel went up, 10 and they saw the God of Israel, and under his feet there was something like a sapphire pavement, like the very heaven itself in its clearness. 11 But against the chief of the children of Israel he did not lay a hand; for they saw God, and did eat and drink.”

Nowhere else in the Bible is there recorded such intense supernatural physical manifestations of God’s majesty. God’s action on Mount Sinai was manifested by thunder, lightning, a great cloud, a very loud sound of a ram’s horn, and the voice of God. When the Holy Spirit was poured out at Pentecost, it was only a foretaste of manifestations, because the events of Pentecost in Acts 2 were not personally fulfilled by the Lord Jesus. Therefore, only the first two manifestations mentioned in Exo 19:16 took place there, namely thunder (Acts 2: a sound was heard) and lightning (Acts 2: tongues of fire). Other supernatural manifestations from Mount Sinai mentioned in Ex 19:19 are waiting to be fulfilled, they are the trumpet blast and the loud voice of God. On Mount Sinai, these are the first supernatural manifestations, in Acts 2, part of the manifestations were fulfilled at Pentecost, and at the end, at the rapture, they will be the last unfulfilled supernatural manifestations. If Scripture speaks of the last trumpet, it must logically also have been the first. It cannot be the last by itself without the previous one.

The New Testament writes on what occasion the last supernatural sound of the trumpet and the voice of the archangel will be heard.

1 Cor 15:51-52 “ 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed“.

1 Thess 4:16-17  16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.”

The connection of the events on Mount Sinai is also confirmed by the events that took place on the fiftieth day (6th Av), when Moses came down from the mountain to the camp and saw the sinful conduct of God’s people there. God’s punishment for this conduct was that three thousand people died on that fiftieth day. It also happened that Moses broke the stone tablets with the Ten Commandments from God. On Pentecost (6 Av) in Acts 2, three thousand people were saved during the first sermon after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. These two identical numbers are the word of God. By Moses breaking the tablets of the law, it was prophetically shown that in the future, on the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out, the Old Testament would be replaced by the New Covenant at the birth of the church.

An interesting fact is also that the disciples had to wait much longer for the outpouring of the Spirit than is generally stated in the church. Today's church speaks of ten days after Jesus' ascension. However, this does not correspond to reality and the disciples had to wait at least 50 days. It is clear that they could not just be in the upper room the whole time, but had to do ordinary things, buying food, etc. The fact that they were all in the upper room on the day of Pentecost indicates the fact that they must have had a revelation that the expected event would happen on the day of Pentecost. It is also much better to wait when the specific day of the expected event is revealed. The same applies to the rapture. Another thing is that unlike the people under Mount Sinai, who could not wait for God's promise even for fifty days, the 120 disciples demonstrated their loyalty to God's command and were able to wait for the Holy Spirit for these fifty days. I think that this loyalty of theirs made it possible for this event on Pentecost to happen.

We know that the fiftieth year is declared in Scripture to be a year of grace. In Leviticus 25:10 it is written: “And you shall sanctify the fiftieth year, even one year. And you shall proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee for you. And you shall return every man unto his possession; yea, you shall return every man unto his family.” At the feast of Pentecost in Acts 2, on the fiftieth day the Holy Spirit was poured out, and the saving grace of God was given to the people of all nations through the work of the Lord Jesus. At the Pentecost that we are now awaiting, on the fiftieth day of the feast of Pentecost, the most wonderful day of God’s grace may come to pass, and that is the redemption of God’s people by the rapture into the heavenly dwellings.

One more important thing. By the devil moving the day of Pentecost from summer to spring for the church, the facts stated by God in many places in Scripture about the day of Pentecost as the day of the rapture for the church are perfectly hidden. When the church, by tradition, expects the day of Pentecost in the spring, all the wonderful revelations of God about the day of the rapture of the church on the day of Pentecost are impossible to see from Scripture. Only by the correct biblical timing of the feast of Pentecost in the summer can these revelations of God from Scripture be understood. By this move to spring, the devil has almost perfectly succeeded in hiding the day of the rapture on the day of Pentecost from the church.
