Didn't Jesus say that he is preparing a place for the believers in the Father's house?And that if he goes back to the Father, and prepares that place, that he will come to receive the believers to himself?And that where he will be, the Father's house, that the believers would then be with him there?
John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
But in the post-trib view, resurrected Christians will not live in that place prepared for them in the Father's house?In that view, won't it only be the souls of departed Christians, that will ever be in the Father's house?Because, doesn't the post-trib view, have living Christians resurrected to meet Jesus at his second advent, to immediately come back down to the earth with him?At least, don't they hold that the souls of departed Christians receive their resurrection bodies in the air, since that is described in I Thessalonians 4 & I Corinthians 15?But in that post-trib view, only the souls of the departed Christians ever get to be in heaven, because after they have their resurrected bodies, they do not return to heaven?However, in the post-trib view, the Christians alive until Jesus returns, never get to see heaven?They hold, that at most, they go up in their resurrected bodies, to meet Jesus, but they immediately return with Jesus to the earth, for the thousand year kingdom?But then after the thousand year kingdom, they still don't go to heaven, as they will be in the new Jersusalem that comes down from God out of heaven to the earth?
Therefore, in the post-trib view, Christians living at the time of the catching away, will never go to that place Jesus prepares for them in the Father's house?Also, in the post-trib view, no resurrected Christians, in their resurrected bodies, will ever be in that place prepared for them?
Then for the post-trib view, resurrected Christians will not be able to enjoy any of the following?
I Peter 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
Colossians 1:5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
Hebrews 10:34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
