This is in reply to your 4/13 post Will all be there? and your comments below:
"Will all the Jews be in Israel during the tribulation?
Or will it be most of the Jews in the land?
Or will there still be a substantial number of Jews living outside the land? Will those Jews who flee Judea when the abomination of desolation is seen, flee to a place outside of the land?"
If you read the entire chapter of Isaiah 11 & the other Bible verses below, it doesn't look like all the Jews are gathered from the 4 corners of the earth to live in Israel until Jesus' second coming to earth.
Isaiah 11:10-12, "And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth."
Jeremiah 23:5-8, "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land."
Ezekiel 28:25-26, "Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God."
According to the article which was written Oct. 2024,"Israel is home to 7.3 million Jews, compared to 7.2 million at the beginning of 5784, while 8.5 million Jews live outside of Israel—including 6.3 million in the United States and 2.2 million in other countries, according to the data based on research by demographer professor Sergio Della Pergola from the Hebrew University."
The Return of the Exiles - ICEJ (This was published 2/28/2025.)
"Despite the current war, the Jewish Agency For Israel has set a goal of bringing 300,000 Jews home to Israel over the next five years. The Christian Embassy will be working alongside JAFI to bring more Jewish families home, as we hope to increase our share of the overall Aliyah figures."
So all the Jews aren't currently living in Israel, and 2/3 of the people are going to die according to Zech. 13:8-9 below. If this is referring to all the people in Israel including the Jews, the current population of Israel is 9,488,996 according to the link at Israel Population (2025) - Worldometer which means only 3,162,999 people would be left alive in all of Israel with 6,325,987 people in all Israel dying.
Zechariah 13:8-9,"And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God."
As for your question Will those Jews who flee Judea when the abomination of desolation is seen, flee to a place outside of the land?", the answer is found in Rev. 12:6 which says, "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days" or 1,260 days which is the time of the great tribulation period when the Antichrist will rule from Jerusalem, and the abomination of desolation is set up in 'the holy place' inside the temple in Jerusalem.
