"Pope Francis - What's Next?"

Hello John and Doves,

In this letter I wrote about Josh Peck's video on Prophecy Watchers Youtube channel - where he talked about the death of Pope Francis and St. Malachy's "Prophecy of the Popes".  He gives some interesting possibilities for the prophecy involving the 'last pope' Petrus Romanus.  And he suggests who that might be.

Also, I wrote a bit about the top contenders for the next Pope.  There is a Pietro from Italy as top contender.  Interesting.

Looks like the competition in the conclave will commence between May 6 and May 11, 2025.

As for St. Malachy's "Prophecy of the Popes" - this has not been taken lightly by many Catholics and Protestants over the last few hundred years.  Even today, this topic is all a buzz on the internet.  And the Vatican and all those involved in the election of the next Pope are painfully aware of St. Malachy's Prophecy AND St. Francis of Assisi's prophecy concerning the 'last pope'.

IF this upcoming pope is going to be the False Prophet - there are students of Bible Prophecy who are watching the outcome of this vote very closely.

I also included two letters to Doves - Archbishop Vigano has been VERY outspoken against Pope Francis and the conclave that 'elected' him.  Saying his election should be considered 'null and void' and accused him of "heresy and schism". He called Pope Francis "a false prophet' and a 'servant of satan'.  He believes Francis was "fraudulently imposed upon the Catholic Church as "pope".  IF Vigano is correct as others also believe, Pope Francis was not the 112th pope on St. Malachy's list and the 112th will be the newly elected Pope. It's obvious that Vigano (and others) know something 'the public' doesn't know about that last conclave.

Was Francis really just a 'place holder' after Benedict 'resigned' - until Peter the Roman, the Last Pope, could be elected??

Will this next Pope be the fulfillment of St. Malachy's prophecy and St. Francis' prophecy of the last people?

We are certainly much closer to the start of the End Times than every before.  On the same day that Klaus Schwab resigned from the World Economic Forum, Pope Francis died.  Is satan moving to put his people into place for the Tribulation period?  This could certainly be happening.....

At the end I wrote about Archbishop Vigano's scathing remarks about Francis' death and this upcoming conclave.

Satan is on the move.  Getting all his people in place....

Josh Peck and St. Malaychy's Prophecy of the Popes:

Josh Peck covered the news on the death of Pope Francis.

Pope Francis died on April 21, 'Easter Monday'.  This ends a 12 year papacy.  Cardinal Kevin Farrell (from the U.S.) is the acting head of the Vatican until a new pontiff is elected.  This won't happen for some 15 days.

Peck then covered 'The Prophecy of the Popes'.  This prophecy is attributed to St. Malachy, a 12th century Irish Archbishop.  Tom Horn and Chris Putnam wrote about this prophecy in their book "Petrus Romanus'.

The Prophecy of the Popes  "... is one of the most intriguing and debated prophetic texts in Catholic history.  It's a series of 112 cryptic Latin phrases (or mottos), each describing a future pope, beginning with Celestine II in 1143.  And it's been discussed for centuries.  The prophecy concludes with a figure known as Petrus Romano or Peter the Roman whose reign is said to coincide with the destruction of Rome and the Last Judgement."

St. Malachy was born in 1094 in Ireland.  He was a significant figure in the reform of the Irish Church aligning its practices with those of Rome.  He was canonized in 1190.  He was the 12th century Archbishop of Armagh.  He was known for his piety, miracles and prophetic gifts.  He died in 1148.

According to tradition, Malachy visited Rome in 1139 to visit Pope Innocent II, and during this visit he experienced a vision of the future popes.  He recorded these visions as a series of short enigmatic Latin phrases.  Which he entrusted to the Pope.  This remained unknown until its publication in 1595 by Benedict Monk Arnold Wion in his book "Lignum Vitae".

There are criticisms of this prophecy.  The authenticity has been questioned.  Why did it take some 400 years to be made known?  Some say it's a forgery from 1590 to affect the election of a particular pope that year.  The prophecies could have been written in 'hindsight' as the mottos for the popes before 1590 are quite precise about birthplaces, coat of arms, names, etc; while those after 1590 are more vague...

There is support of this prophecy however.  Some say that its rediscovery centuries later in the Vatican archives explains its absence from the records. And its actually been quite accurate in describing later popes.

There are 112 Latin mottos - each to represent a pope or anti-pope from Clementine II to the final pope Petrus Romanus.  The phrases are short and symbolic referencing the pope's name, birthplace, family crest, or significant event during their reign.

Celestine II motto was 'castello tiberus' - "castle on the Tiber" - this aligns with his birthplace.  The final 112th entry  "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman who will feed his flock amid many tribulations.  After which the seven hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful judge will judge the people.  The End."  This apocalyptic tone has some aligning this with the End Time apocalypse.  Some people align this last pope with the False Prophet of The Revelation.

Peck gave examples of mottos and recent popes.  And how they support the prophecies.  For example, Pope Benedict XVI 2005 - 2013 his motto is "Gloria oliuae" or "Glory of the olive".  He is connected to the Olivetan order.

He said after Benedict 'it gets a bit tricky.'  The Pope after Benedict has been said to not be a legitimate pope. That would be Francis, the pope that just died.

As for Francis (2013 - 2025)he  is often associated with with the final motto: Petrus Romanus - his Italian heritage and Bishop of Rome title are cited as fulfilling this.  The chosen name 'Francis' came from St. Francis of Assisi - his father was named Pietro.

Also, in the prophecy....it says after Peter the Roman reigns...the seven hilled city will be destroyed and the terrible judge will judge.  So...he will reign and sometime after that the city will be destroyed..  It doesn't say how long after his reign the city will be destroyed - supposedly before a new pope is chosen.

What if Francis was never legitimate to begin with (I actually wrote about this in a 2023 and a 2024 Doves letter - both are linked below) and was just a 'place holder' that would make the next pope Peter the Roman?  And actually the top contender for new pope is named Peter.

A number of Catholics believe that Francis was not legitimately canonically elected - that something 'illegitimate might have taken place behind the scenes at the last conclave'.  They said he was inserted as a 'stop gap placeholder' until the actual or true pope Petrus Romanus could step into the role.  Popes usually die as pope, yet Benedict retired or stepped down.  (He later died in 2022.)  So there were two 'popes' alive at the same time.)  These are odd circumstances.

When Jorge Mario Bergoglio became pope #112, he "quickly made several intriguing moves to tie himself to Peter the Roman label from The Prophecy of the Popes.  First he chose the name Francis from St. Francis Assisi who was born Giovanni who later became known as Francesco di Petro de Bernardone and that directly translates to Peter the Roman matching the final prophecy.  Also, Francis was well aware that Francis of Assisi was a prophet who warned that the last pope would be raised to the pontificate who by his cunning will endeavor to draw many in error and death for in those days Jesus Christ will not send them a true pastor but a destroyer."  Why would Francis pick a name associated with such a dire prediction of the final pope?  Third he appointed Pietro Parolin as the Vatican Secretary of Sate whose name also evoked Peter the Roman and could ascend now to the papacy.  He's the top running man.

If Francis was not canonically elected to pope, than Parolin could be seen as the true 112th pope in the prophecy.  Tom Horn believed that Pietro Parolin could be the real 112th pope and he might fulfill the Petrus Romanus prophecy.  Maybe Francis purposefully picked St. Francis of Assisi as his namesake because he prophesied about 'a man not canonically elected will be raised to the pontificate'.  And what happened with Francis, a false pope, was hidden from the public.

Adding this here concerning St. Francis of Assisi's prophecy about the last pope.  Very interesting:

Both Catholics and Protestants have long seen the "Prophecy of the Popes" as one of many signs pointing to Rome's role in the End times.

Three possibilities:

1)  This is all bunk.

2)  The prophecy says 'sometime AFTER Peter the Romans' rule - no time period given - if Francis was Peter the Roman, then some time after his reign/death - then these things will happen.  Rome will be destroyed and the terrible judge will judge his people.  And it would seem to make sense that this would take place before a new pope could be elected.

3)  Tom Horn was leaning towards Francis was more of a place holder, an illegitimate pope, and that the next pope will be Peter the Roman, possibly the False Prophet - leading into the End Times.

Archbishop Vigano and Others Question the Legitimacy of Francis' Papacy:

Even the Vatican is a buzz about Malachy's prophecy...this is being scrutinized by various news outlets, Vatican experts, Vatican authors, Vatican researchers, etc. And the members of the papacy.  Many of the public are aware of the prophecies.

 After a Pope Dies:

There is a mourning period of nine days - "novemdiales"

Burial occurs within four to five days.

"The conclave traditionally begins 15 to 20 days after the pope's death (the College of Cardinals sets the date and time.)  All of the conclaves since the 1900s have lasted less than four days..The election takes place in the Sistine Chapel and is completely secret."  If the smoke from the chimney is black the cardinals need to vote again.  If the smoke is white, a new pope has been chosen.

"After the vote, the winning candidate is asked two questions;  Do they accept their election, and what name will they chose?"

Who Will Be the Next Pope?:

When Francis was in the hospital for some three weeks, many expected him to not make it back to the Vatican.  I'm sure people were being selected by 'all' sides.  The power struggle was raging.  So the 'top' contenders have no doubt been selected.  THEY just need the vote.

Pietro Parolin.  Nationality:  Italian  Age: 70  He is the Secretary of State and heads the Church's central administration 'Roman Curia'.  He was Pope Francis' chief adviser.  There has not been an Italian pope in 40 years.  He has been 'deputy pope' and is a frontrunner.

Luis Antonio Gokim Tagle.  Nationality:  Filipino  Age: 67  He has been nicknamed the "Asian Francis". He was a candidate for Pope when Francis was elected. "He is viewed by some as more likely to prioritize diplomacy and a global outlook than the purity of Catholic dogma."

Fridolin Ambongo Besungu.  Nationality:  Congolese  Age: 65  He was appointed cardinal by Pope Francis.

Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson.  Nationality:  Ghanian  Age: 76  He was appointed cardinal by Pope John Paul II.  He believes "homosexuality should not be treated as an offence."

The conclave to elect the new pope will begin between May 6 and May 11, 2025.

More On Parolin:

Pietro Parolin was appointed by Pope Francis as Secretary of State of the Holy See.  Francis was behind his promotions in the Vatican.  He is "responsible for the foreign policy of the Holy See...focusing on promoting peace and dialogue in international conflicts."  He was involved with negotiations with China.  He 'opposes the arms race, and promotes disarmament, particularly of nuclear weapons.'

On social platforms he's described as "Francis' right hand".  And he's pro-Palestinian and pro-Ukraine.
Cardinal Parolin emerges as leading contender for next pope

Will Pietro Parolin of Italy be chosen as the next Pope?  This will get very interesting if he is.

IF Pope Francis was NOT the 112th pope - that he was a fraudulent pope and a 'place holder' - then the next pope will be the 112 and the prophecy of Peter the Roman could very well come true.

Did Francis pick Pietro Parolin for various powerful appointments and as Secretary of State in the Vatican on purpose to succeed him as Pope - to fulfill satan's agenda and thus fulfilling the prophecy?.

2025 is the Catholic Year of Jubilee.  And Francis opened the Holy Doors.  Portals for demons.  Looks like all Hell may break loose this year.

I was curious to see how Archbishop Vigano would respond to the news of Pope Francis' death.  Seems he gave a "searing" statement Monday.  Pope Francis said "Sinful souls are not punished:  those who repent obtain God's forgiveness and join the ranks of souls who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot therefore be forgiven disappear.  There is no hell, sinful souls simply disappear."  Vigano said "These heretical ravings are directly opposed to the Catholic Faith, which teaches us that there is a particular Judgment for everyone, which Bergoglio could not escape.  His soul has therefore not disappear, nor has it dissolved:  he will have to account for the crimes he has committed, first of all having usurped the throne of Peter in order to destroy the Catholic Church and loose so many souls."

He warned that those Francis appointed remain "His heirs still remain, the subversives whom he has invalidly created 'cardinals' and who have long been organizing themselves to ensure a continuator of the synodal revolution and the destructuring of the Papacy."

"He also criticized conservative Cardinals and Bishops who he said failed to challenge Francis' legitimacy, arguing that they share responsibility for the outcome of the forthcoming conclave."

Wow.  Doesn't look good for the Catholic Church and the Vatican.  Wonder if Archbishop Vigano believes they will elect Francis' 'right hand man'?  That it's a given at this point.

Something wicked this way comes.  Satan is getting his chess pieces in place so when the Tribulation starts - all will be ready.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Maranatha!
