Hello Cinda Godfrey,I just had to reply to a letter with the title: "Guess We Had It All Wrong"I really don't know where to start....."7 glorious years ahead", "the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord, a 24 hour period when God will rid the world of all the evil people", the Day of the Lord will "only last for 24 hours"..."Once the evil is gone, God's beautiful wonderful glory will fall on this world and billions will be saved as well as healings taking place, miracles and the Transfer of Wealth spoken of in Proverbs 13:22. God's kids will be blessed beyond our wildest expectations."And after the '7 glorious years' is the Rapture.And 'two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left." Matthew 24:41 isn't referring to the Rapture.Why even have a Rapture after 7 glorious years? And we skip the Tribulation and move right into a sort of christ?-ruled kingdom - but not quite like described by Scripture.We don't even need the book of The Revelation. Where Jesus tells us what the future holds for the world.Shades of 'amillennialism'? Some odd mix of beliefs?Very odd as I checked out the church Carolyn Dennis attends - they believe in the Rapture (pre-Tribulation) and the Millennial reign of Christ....didn't see anything about 7 glorious years before the Rapture or God getting rid of the evil people before the Rapture...hmmmm.It was pretty easy for me to stop listening to C. Dennis....I just hit 'exit'.Certainly don't include me in your "Guess We Had It All Wrong"...I'll stick with Scripture.When I was reading the above scenario, it crossed my mind that IF the Rapture happened on Easter Sunday, April 20, would C. Dennis say it was 'the Day of the Lord' where he rid the world of the evil people? Wouldn't need the alien abduction connection then.I'm not interested in any earthly wealth or my dreams coming true - I'm just waiting on the Lord and His Kingdom Come.May you find His path.Chance
