"Donna Danna:  "The Temple of God in Heaven & On Earth" Letter"

Hello Donna Donna,

Just wanted to clarify what I meant - don't think I was very clear.

When I wrote that "This makes me think that there is no literal Temple because the Gentiles are not allowed inside the Temple for the AC to declare himself god."

You replied that Antiochus Epiphanes entered the Jewish Temple and defiled it.  And, you added that the AC will do the same thing in a rebuilt third temple.

My reference was to Revelation 11:2 - John was given a measuring rod and told to measure the temple of God and the altar and count the number of worshipers there.  He was told to not measure the outer court or courtyard outside the Temple because the outer court and the holy city have been given over to be 'tread under foot forty and two months by the nations/Gentiles'.

John is told about two separate and distinct places - one in Heaven and one on Earth.

The Temple is obviously in Heaven - that is what he is given the rod to measure.

The outer court is obviously on Earth - because the Gentiles are given it and the holy city for forty two months.

If there was a temple on Earth, it seems John would have been told about it in Revelation 11 when he was told about the outer court and the holy city.  He is not told about a Temple on Earth.

The 'nations/Gentiles' are only given 1) the outer court which is the Temple Mount with the two mosques...2) and the holy city/the holy place/Jerusalem.  They are not given a Temple to defile.

As you wrote, IF there is a Temple there, the AC and Gentiles would surely defile it.  But they are not given a temple to defile - only the outer court and the holy city.

Surely John would have been told/shown about the AC declaring himself god in the Jewish temple? That would be huge!  This splits the 7 year tribulation in half - and starts the Great Tribulation.  I don't read that in The Revelation.

The Temple is in Heaven.  Rev 11:19  It has the ark of the covenant.

That's how I read Rev 11:2.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Maranatha~
