Making sense of the mainstream media news is a daunting task, nowadays. I have read about furious, bloody fights breaking out on the border between Thailand and Myanmar, India and China etc. There's so much going on, the head doth spin. The world has become one big, spiteful, vindictive place. The media relish the stories of feral children knifing each other and attacking older people. The media relish stories about school children attacking and beating their teachers. The media relish stories about children identifying themselves as 'Furries' - attacking, biting and scratching their normal school chums. It's a total spaghetti junction mess. This is what we get when 'thick as two short planks' evil mafia types are in charge. Nothing makes any sense because ordinary people don't think like they do. We don't kill each other because of family disagreements. We don't kneecap each other over an unpaid loan. We don't threaten each other with torture, murder and death for the slightest reason. Ordinary people value life and hold it sacrosanct. We honour the dead with funerals and flowers - mourning our loss. We don't perpetuate death as a means to an end - Machiavelli style. WE are NOT warmongers. Our leaders and politicians are. The Bible tells us that our battle is NOT against flesh and blood (each other) but against the rulers, leaders and dark forces of this world. Until we all adhere to scriptural teachings, our world will be at war. GOOD v evil. It all accumulates with the war against Israel. Our timepiece. Our LORD's Holy Land. We are seeing it in real time now. Our redemption draws near.
