"Major Lunar Standstill???"

Hi John and Doves,

I had never heard of this. We are in one (a major lunar standstill) right now. This apparently occurs once every 18.6 years with our current one having begun in February 2024 ending in November 2025. It lasts for 1.5 to 2 years.
