“Behold I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the people around”
We all know these passages very well and it’s becoming more and more clear how important these prophecies are in pointing us to the day that is almost on us. Even more so now as Israel is under direct attack from Iran and escalating an already bad situation.
Jesus is coming soon because of what’s going on in Israel and the convergence of all the other signs all at the same time plain and simple.
Now that all the “big dates” have come and gone, and I know more will crop up, but it’s getting a little worn out and past the time to come up with yet another date.
Newsflash: He doesn’t need to come on a Jewish Holiday, an eclipse or any other date of what we would deem significant. In fact, it is far more likely he will avoid all that to fulfill his word, which not only says no one knows the day or hour, but also that he will come when we LEAST expect him.
Instead we should concentrate on being ready, whenever he chooses through prayer and doing what we're supposed to for the “least of these”.
The first day of his wrath is almost here, when the whole world will declare it is here! There will be no guessing about it, ALL will know and declare it as Revelation 6:16 says.
Also we can have confidence that we will escape because of Luke 21:36 and other passages. We only need to pray and have our robes washed to be ready.
One thing is certain, As time passes we can see “normal” whatever that was, is long gone and will never return. Instead the new normal is the absence of peace and safety and the hate of Israel.
And what are we on the verge of? Are we on the verge of a revival through repentance, which is the only thing that could possibly reverse this trend and direction?
I think most of us know it’s not going to happen, though we would welcome it. Instead it will take something far worse than 9-11, and the only thing I can think of that matches a description of people crying out and knowing how angry God is, is at the 6th seal.
It will be too late to go for many as the wedding door will be shut and the escape will elude so many. They will realize too late to go in the Rapture, but God is merciful, so he will again allow many to be saved, if they call on him, but then it will only come through much suffering as we all know.
God help us to be ready for your soon arrival, which is so soon now. Both the church AND Israel are crying for our Messiah. You are the only one who can put an end to the madness of this out of control world and bring true peace.
