"Natanz Nuclear Base's Anti-Aircraft Shield Destroyed In Air Strikes - Now What?"

Hello John and Doves,

Looks like neither side, Israel vs Iran, has effectively changed anything..yet.  Iran still has their proxies.  Israel is still fighting the proxies.

A few more interesting tidbits have popped up since the attack on Iran:

It's being reported that missiles destroyed the Natanz nuclear base's anti-aircraft shield. This was an 'advanced Russian-made air defense system' - the S-300. The missiles that hit it were 'very sophisticated radar-evading missiles launched from an Israeli plane outside of Iranian airspace.  The missiles crossed into Iran undetected.

"US media reported Friday that an alleged Israeli strike in Iran involved three missiles launched by Israeli Air Force warplanes, targeting an air defense radar site near Isfahan.  The missiles, fired from outside Iranian airspace, aimed at the defense system near the Natanz nuclear site."  The site hit was "part of an array defending the nearby top-secret Natanz nuclear site."  The radar site was taken out in the strike - "the assessment yet to be completed."  There may have been more damage.

WarNews247 is reporting that "..the Israeli attack destroyed the base, but the assessment is not complete.  Battle damage assessments (BDA) are still being conducted" per US officials.

"US officials suddenly escalate the situation between Iran and Israel by revealing that the anti-aircraft shield of Iran's nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan were destroyed."

One would think that if part or all of an anti-missile defense system was destroyed - that there were plans to 'finish' the job now that the defense system has been impaired.  Why bother damaging the defense system in the first place if that isn't going to provide a huge advantage to future attacks?  So I don't see this as a "message" to Iran.  But..maybe it is - just a message that Israel can do this and leave a nuclear facility exposed to attack.

"US defense officials told The New York Times that there was concern the precedent set by the nations' direct exchanges of blows this week could encourage further rounds of violence in the future."

What kind of weapon, though, could actually do enough damage to an Iranian nuclear facility to put it out of commission?  They are deeply buried - so deep, they are "beyond the range of a massive so-called bunker buster bomb.."  (But a High Power Microwave Energy missile - HPM - could destroy such a facility - see my other Doves letter today.)

So, if the damage to this defense system for the Natanz nuclear facility is Step 1 of a plan to take out the Iranian nuclear capabilities and research here, then a Step 2 is soon to come?  Or is this just a message to Iran that Israel can do this - but it Israel doesn't have the right weapon to effectively hit down deep in the underground tunnels/bunkers - what good is taking out the anti-missile defense system?  Iran buried this facility to keep it from Israeli/US weapons.  Does Israel has a special secret weapon capable of this?  Did Israel develop a High Power Microwave Energy missile similar to the US?  Or did the US provide Israel access to one such missile?

Taking out the defense system without a Step 2 seems an impotent "message".  A follow-up attack may be in the works....with a weapon we haven't seen used by Israel before.

As I wrote above - Iran still has proxies and Israel is still fighting these proxies.  Something will have to give....many are thinking this will go nuclear between Israel and Iran.

Nothing will happen outside of God's will.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Also, rumors of a Russian nuclear sub off the coast of Jacksonville, Florida.  I would expect multiple subs off our coasts IF an attack was imminent.
