The U.S. has told Israel about a
'window' of suspected Iranian retaliation - 24 - 48
hours. That would be now through Sunday, 4/14.
War News 247 is reporting that the
attack on Israel has begun, April 12: "Hezbollah first
opened the "dance" of attacks against Israel by launching a
barrage of 50 rockets at Israeli targets in an attempt to
saturate Israeli air defenses before the Iranian attack with
Land-Attack Cruise and other advanced missiles."
'Video shows dozens of intercepts by Israel's
Iron Dome and MIM-104 "Patriot" anti-aircraft arrays over
Northern Israel in the last few minutes. And this of
course means that Israel will proceed with massive
reprisals against Hezbollah in Lebanon."
"It is noted that Israel's Ministry of Health
and the IDF Home Front Command has sent a message to
hospitals and clinics across the country to set up
emergency departments for possible hostilities with Iran
this weekend."
"IDF managed to shoot down majority of the
rockets using both IronDome and Patriot SAM systems."
"The U.S. Navy is sending several warships
including two Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, one of which
was already in the area, and another which is headed in
and carrying an Aegis missile defense system." Also,
the Pentagon has sent the USS Dwight Eisenhower to the Red
Sea.
"According to reports, US ships are taking up
battle positions off the coast of Israel and in the
norther part of the Red Sea to help defend Israel by
intercepting Iranian drones and missiles." If Israel
is hit by proxies in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon - the U.S. may
join Israel in an attack on Iran.
Biden told Iran "don't do it" - shortly
before the barrage by Hezbollah. Obviously Iran
couldn't care less what Biden says. "Iran sent
an official message to the United States earlier this week
via several Middle Eastern countries, threatening to
launch attacks on US troops and bases across the Middle
East if the US gets involved in the battle between Israel
and Iran."
Iran using proxies that
receive their orders from Iran in their headquarters in Damascus,
could result in Isaiah 17:1: "The
burden (message of doom) concerning Damascus:
"Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city. And
it will be a ruinous heap."
Countries Warn Their Citizens to Leave The
Area:
Meanwhile the list of countries telling their
citizens to not travel to Israel, the Gaza Strip, the West
Bank, Lebanon, Iran, etc. is growing: France,
India, Russia, Poland, the U.K., ...
"In the current tensions, especially between
Israel and Iran, there is a risk of a sudden
escalation..."
I think Israel should be aware now that the
U.S. under Biden can not be trusted - especially when it
comes to Iran. Israel should not give the U.S. a
heads up before any attacks on Iran or Syria or Lebanon,
imo. The Biden admin has too many 'leaks' - too many
that side with Iran against Israel.
Problems With Having US
Bases in Muslim Middle East Countries:
"Gulf monarchies are urging
the US not to use American military bases on their
territories to strike in response to any potential Iranian
attack on Israel, sources told Middle East
Eye. The US's Gulf allies are working overtime to shut
down avenues that could link them to a US reprisal against
Tehran or its proxies from bases inside their kingdoms,
according to a senior US official who spoke with MEE on
condition of anonymity. As tensions flare, Saudi
Arabia, the UAE, Oman, and Kuwait have raised questions
about the intricate details of basing agreements that permit
tens of thousands of US troops to be stationed across the
oil-rich peninsula."
"They are also moving to
prevent US warplanes from flying over their airspace in
the event the US conducts a retaliatory strike on Iran.
The US has spent decades investing in military bases
in the Gulf. Given their close proximity to Iran,
those airbases would be the most convenient launching pads
for the US against the Islamic Republic, current and former
US officials tell MEE."
"The Gulf monarchies'
reluctance is complicating the Biden administration's
preparation as it war games how to respond to a potential
Iranian attack on Israel. ...."It's a mess," a
senior US official told MEE."
Iran could attack Israel directly
from Iran. Or Iran could order an attack on Israel
using proxies - Houthis in Yemen, Shia in Iraq, Hezbollah in
Lebanon. Or do both of these things. "Iran could
also strike Israeli embassies - including those in the
Middle East - or Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank
and Gaza."
"But the Biden administration is
divided over what level of support to give Israel....The
Biden administration's fear of becoming embroiled in a wider
Middle East war ahead of US elections is also weighing on
those discussions."
U.S. Troops and Bases In the
Middle East:
"The US has at least 40,000 troops
in the Middle East." U.S. bases are in Saudi Arabia, UAE,
Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain...but they won't allow the U.S.
to use these bases or their airspace against Iran.
'The majority are located in the
oil-rich Gulf states, where they are based at a string of
strategic air and naval bases. Saudi Arabia's
Prince Sultan Airbase is home to the US's 378th
Air Expeditionary Wing which operates F-16 and F-35 jet
fighters. The US operates MQ-0 Reaper drones and jet
fighters out of the UAE's Al Dhafra Air Base.
Kuwait's Ali al-Salem Air Base is home to
the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing. Qatar's Al
Udeid Air Base hosts the regional headquarters
for the US Central Command...The island kingdom of Bahrain
is home to around 9,000 US troops who belong to the
headquarters of the US Naval Forces Central Command and the
US Fifth Fleet. Oman also allows the US military
overflights and port calls."
"Israel has indicated that it will
strike back if Iran does attack."
Having US bases in Muslim Middle
East countries has created a major drawback for a U.S.
military response to an Iranian attack on Israel - if the
U.S. fighter jets can't use the air space or the
bases...this will make defending Israel that much more
difficult. We have warships in the area, but if those
are compromised (sunk or 'put out of commission' by drones)
the U.S. will be very limited in a military response.
I suppose this could fit the Gog and Magog War scenario
where Israel is left to fight Gog's hordes without allies.
Reports of 15 US Air Force F-15s
have been deployed to the Middle East from the
UK.
Of course, Israel is aware of all of
this. And nothing will happen outside of God's will
for Israel and the Middle East.
The situation is very fluid and as
noted before - this is the most dangerous time since the
1973 war.
