"Section 702 Coming Up for Renewal or Reform - Spying on Americans"

Hello John and Doves,

Section 702 of the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act is coming up for a temporary renewal or a major change with a GOP House amendment.  It's previous renewal runs out April 19.  I hope this is not 'renewed' again and that major changes are made instead.

FBI Director Wray, FOR MONTHS now has been warning of 'elevated threats' on U.S. soil.  Over and over he has testified to Congress that 'he'd be hard pressed to think of a time where so many threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated all at once.'  In fact, I've written previous Dove letters about this same claim ...yet the border remains wide open.  And Biden et al have been flying foreigners all over the country secretly.

And not a peep from Wray about the terrorists coming over the southern border into the country or Biden flying them from other countries secretly into the U.S.

We have seen an unprecedented amount of time/money/etc used by the FBI in rounding up supposed Jan 6 'insurrectionsts' - instead of focusing on real terrorists - they've been chasing down and red flagging anyone who 'even thought about attending the January 6 rally' or is a Trump supporter.  (With DHS's help.)

Wray is using the Hamas conflict in the Middle East and the recent concert hall attack in Moscow to try and get Congress to "reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which monitors foreign nationals overseas and is set to expire on April 19."  He said, "...An absolutely indispensable tool for Congress can give us in our fight against foreign adversaries is the reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence surveillance Act.  It's critical in securing our nation, and we're in crunch time."

"Section 702 allows warrantless surveillance of foreigners outside the U.S. - people who are not protected by the Fourth Amendment.  American citizens and people within the United States cannot be targeted under the authority."

Abuses of Section 702 resulted in spying on U.S. citizens.  House Speaker Mike Johnson tried to renew this legislation but House republicans "derailed" his efforts.  Recent changes to Section 702 by a House GOP proposal - involving a new amendment - this would add "a secondary warrant requirement."  Some are saying this new amendment would "effectively render the tool useless."  In other words, this amendment would hinder the FBI's legal ability to spy on Americans...but when does the FBI follow the rules anyway?

Supposedly Section 702 is a U.S. defense against "fentanyl smuggling to operations at the U.S. southern border.."  What a joke.  Fentanyl is flooding into the country because of the open border and any 'operations' the FBI is doing at the southern border is helping terrorists and fentanyl get into the country!

"In 2022, 100% of the President's intelligence priorities reported by the NSA were supported by Section 702 information, 59% of the articles in the President's Daily Brief contained Section 702 information, 40% of products in the CIA's World Intelligence Review Daily relied on Section 702 information.  From 2018 to 2022, 70% of successful weapons and counterproliferation disruptions by the CIA were supported by Section 702 information."

The above percentages are all good reasons to 'can' Section 702.  The FBI and DHS are spying on Americans - especially Trump supporters and any that don't toe the line with the Biden administration's chosen narratives - on Ukraine, the 2024 election, the Covid-19 "vaccine", Covid-19 origin, Russia/Putin, etc.  And the CIA, FBI are often in cahoots with who the average American would consider our enemies - Iran, Hamas, China, ISIS.  As for Section 702 helping the CIA - they pretty much do whatever they want anyway - like destabilize the Ukrainian duly elected government to get Zelensky in as president, destabilize the Egyptian duly elected government to get Morsi in as president, etc.  And now, trying to destabilize the Netanyahu duly elected government of Israel.

And don't even bother telling us that 9/11 wouldn't have happened if Section 702 existed in 2001.  I think most Americans are aware that 9/11 was an inside job.  The FBI and Bush admin were up to their necks in that lie!  And Section 702 is used for actions against Al Qaeda and ISIS - yet, what about Iran?  Iran's leadership chants "death to America" - yet we hear nothing about the FBI going after Iranians - it's only Al Qaeda and ISIS!  (And the U.S. under Obama created ISIS.)

We are all VERY familiar with FISA - and how they abused it to go after American citizens - one example was calling parents who stood up to evil school agendas 'home grown terrorists'.  And "the FBI has been accused of improperly using Section 702 to spy on...people who rioted at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021." And to claim 702 is used to fight fentanyl smuggling - oh, please!  The border is wide open.  The fentanyl business is booming!  And to claim 702 is used to 'mitigate cyberattacks on critical U.S. infrastructure', Wray admitted a few months ago that the U.S. infrastructure is already infected with Chinese cyberware - and they are just waiting for a 'go' signal to take everything down.  So exactly how did 702 prevent any of that?  It didn't.  Why doesn't Wray talk about the security threat of the open southern border and ask for money to place FBI agents on the border to apprehend the real terrorists?

The FBI has allowed and aided our enemies to infiltrate all of America - our corporations, military, federal, state, and city government, education and health care systems, our farm lands and agriculture and food supply - all infiltrated - mainly by CCP.

The FBI has too much power as is.  I hope Congress does NOT reauthorize Section 702 for the FBI.  They have abused that power and should no longer have access to such power.

The White House, of course, opposes the new Section 702 with the amendment.  National security officials have been "lobbying lawmakers in classified settings" to not support the "unworkable changes".  And the Senate will not renew this with the GOP House proposed amendment.

And, hopefully, this will not be allowed to continue with a temporary extension.  Shame on Mike Johnson!  MTG is right!

This will need to be closely watched - IF it's given a temporary renewal, we can bet the FBI will abuse it to the full extent and beyond.  Looks like they still have work to do for our enemies.  And if it goes to the Senate with the amendment it will be voted down.  THEY need every avenue available to spy on the American people and advance the agenda of our enemies - they have red flagged MAGA people, those who voted for Trump in 2020, those who donate to Trump's campaign, those who didn't get vaccinated, those who comment about Covid-19 "vaccine" adverse reactions, those who oppose the war in Ukraine and want peace with Putin, those who support Israel and the Jewish people, and those who support Netanyahu's government, those against child gender manipulation, those who oppose abortions, those who oppose pedophilia, those who believe in the God of The Bible.  All of these people - that's half the country, at least, are considered enemies of the state by this administration.

I suspect Section 702 will get a 'temporary' extension.  Bribes, threats, blackmail are the way business is done in D.C.  THEY are not done with the country or us.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Maranatha!
