What a fascinating booklet. Plus a fascinating perspective. It certainly lays out scripture with historical accuracy. I encourage all to read the book in the link below.
I have a few questions. In no way am I trying to nit-pick or tear holes in your perspective. Accompanied as it is, by such scholarly research. BUT - it still doesn't answer my question about the Holocaust. I understand that Daniel was told that the 'saints of the Most High' will be given unto the beast/little horn's hands for a time, times and half a time. 3.5 years. Your perspective holds that the real Holocaust only started in 1941 and ended in 1945. Because that's when the actual murders in the gas ovens began. The other years (1938 - 1940) were somehow not really part of the persecution of 'the saints of the Most High'? This helps to fit Daniel's vision of 'time, times and half a time'. On this, I have to disagree. The Jewish people's persecution, at the hands of Hitler's Nazi regime, began long before that. From an equally sensible stance - the Holocaust began in 1938. The Night of Broken Glass (Kristallnacht). November 9th, 1938, to be exact. Sure - the hard-core, gas chamber murders took off in 1941, but other murders and persecution were happening way before that. The Jewish people lost most everything prior to 1941. This is why I believe that Daniel 7:25 prophecy is still future.
Even if we buy into this prophecy having been fulfilled already, with Hitler of Nazi Germany being the little horn - that kingdom has not been destroyed. In fact the 4th Reich shows signs of having resurrected in our time!
I have so many things going through my head since reading your booklet. So much I learnt as well. From my perspective of scripture and prophecy, the Jewish people have always had to serve specific times of punishment for not sticking to the laws of the Covenant. This is consistently laid out in scripture. The biggest sins revolved around them not keeping the Sabbath and the command to rest the land every 7 years. After 1,868 years of being disbursed in 70AD and being treated like dirt by numerous nations in between - the main spotlight glared upon the Jewish people, once more, in 1938. After 7 years, the war ended in 1945 and the prisoners of the concentration camps were set free. 3 years later in 1948, Israel became a nation again. I am not trying to tell you something you don't know already - I am trying to focus on the number of years. Because if we can crack the reason for those years, we may get a clearer insight as to how much longer this horrific farce of a world has got. I digress ....
It was 10 years from Kristallnacht in 1938 to May 14th, 1948. More precisely - it was 9 years, 6 months and 5 days. 1,878 years since the 70AD dispersal. I would also like to add that although Israel was declared a nation again in May 1948, the Jewish people are still not free. They live in a form of captivity - surrounded by enemies who never stop threatening to wipe them off the face of the earth. Led by various governments who have consistently denied them freedom to their Temple Mount. In reality - the nation of Israel is a police state. Israeli governments have always lifted their caps, bowed at the waist and tugged at their forelocks to the prevailing American administrations. It is these so-called leaders, in conjunction with USA leaders who keep the Jewish people imprisoned in their own land. Even if most Jewish people would tell you they are free, this is a type of Truman Show 'free'. They delude themselves if they think otherwise. They have been manipulated all these years. Mind you - the same applies to all of us. However - staying with the prophetic land of Israel, it has been 1,953 years since the dispersal in 70AD up until this year of 2023. In hard reality, Israel still does not run it's own affairs. Israel is run by weak leaders who bow to foreign interference. The Jewish people are NOT free. The modern day nation of Israel is STILL under captivity.
I know Almighty God has good reason for everything. Otherwise He would not allow it. I would like to know the reason for the Holocaust. The violence and murder. The horror of it all. Was it to do with the amount of sabbath days not observed? It couldn't have been the 7 year land rest because they were not in the land at the time. It simply must account for some big reason.
