I have gained more clarity re the Ark of the Covenant, this week. In the 1st link is an article by the late, wonderful Jack Kelley. The ark mentioned in Revelation 11:19 is the original and true Ark. The earthly Ark was only a copy of the original, which is in heaven. There are some great scriptures linked in this article.

Our LORD Jesus is not only our beloved Saviour, but He is also describe as the High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. He is both King and High Priest. Jesus serves in the heavenly Temple as our eternal sacrifice. For now. There will come a time when He serves as King as well as High Priest. On this earth. But, first, there will be a crisis in the heavenly Temple. Which, I believe is triggered by something big here on earth. An apostasy of such magnitude that it allows our accuser (satan) to attempt an attack on our "everlasting and continuous sacrifice". Our LORD Jesus. Jesus is swept up to God's Throne Room. Revelation 12. Everything escalates rapidly from there. Because the 144,000 are taken away to be protected for 1,260 days. After they are taken away Revelation 7:9 shows believers in heaven.
