Ezekiel 39:2 show Gog &
Magog coming from the north parts
(north of Israel) and Rev. 20:8 shows Gog
& Magog as the nations which are in the
four quarters of the earth whose number is
as the sand of the sea. In Rev. 20:8
they compassed the camp of the saints and
the beloved city, and at the time of Ez. 38
& 39 the camp of the saints is not
located near or in the beloved city of
Jerusalem as the saints are believers all
over the earth.
Also Ez. 39:22 says, "the
house of Israel shall know that I am the
Lord their God from that day forward."
If Ezekiel 39:22 took place at the end of
the millenium, then the house of Israel
would not know the Lord until 1,000 years
after He returned to earth even though He
will be seen in the temple in Jerusalem
during that time and dwell with them.
Ez. 38:4, 38:16 & 39:2 shows
that it is the Lord that puts a hook in the
jaws of Gog & Magog to bring them forth
against Israel while Rev. 7:7-8 shows that it
is Satan who goes out to deceive the nations
which are in the four quarters of the earth,
Gog & Magog to bring them together to
battle & who compassed the camp of the
saints and the beloved city (Jerusalem) which
would make 2 separate attacks against Israel
rather than 1 as you believe.
I wouldn't rule out the
possibility of nuclear war prior to the
millenium leaving no modern weapons so that
they are riding horses, using bows, arrows,
spears, swords & shields in Ez. 38 -39
because horses are also being ridden in the
battle of Armageddon and the flesh of horses
is being eaten by birds of prey in both Rev.
19:17-18 and in Ez. 39:17-20.
After the Ez. 38 & 39 Gog
& Magog attack, the Israelites spend 7
months burying their bones left by the birds
of prey while after the Rev. 19 attack by Gog
& Magog, Satan is thrown into the lake of
fire and the dead in hell are resurrected to
face the Great White Throne judgment so there
would be no bones of Gog & Magog to bury
for 7 months because they would all have been
resurrected back into their bodies to face the
Great White Throne judgment.
