"The 10 days in Revelation 2:10 points to rapture on Pentecost"

John and Doves,

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

These 10 days can’t be literal because we cannot find from history that Smyrna church has been persecuted by Satan for 10 days. These 10 days speaks of the 10 days between Jesus’ ascension and Pentecost. Since Jesus ascent to heaven, Satan has geared up his persecution on the church. But Jesus says this persecution from Satan can only last for “10 days”. It speaks of Jesus shall rapture His church on Pentecost, and puts an end to Satan’s persecution on His church.

Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Out of 7 churches, only Smyrna church is promised not to taste the second death. It is because Smyrna church represents the raptured saints who shall inherit a resurrected body, hence they shall not taste the second death
