Hi John and Doves.  I've taken time to read Matthew 24:36 many, many times and really don't understand why everyone thinks this scripture is speaking to the rapture.

So, let's take a look first at verse 34.  This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.  (So all these things being fulfilled, would include the Rapture!!) I personally have need to know the "time" WE ARE NEARING the Rapture.  How else would we be able to comfort one another with the words of The Blessed Hope???  Exactly why God told us what to be watching for, unless we're caught un-aware!!

Now verse 36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. WHAT DAY AND HOUR??  We were just told in the 35TH. paragraph;  BUT OF THAT DAY, THAT HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY!!!  I HAVE NO NEED TO KNOW OF THAT DAY, WHY WOULD IT MATTER TO ME?  I'M ALREADY IN HEAVEN AND WON'T BE ON THE EARTH WHEN THAT DAY HAPPENS, THE SAME REASON JESUS DOESN'T NEED TO KNOW, NOR THE ANGELS, ONLY GOD KNOWS!!! SO, DO ANY OF YOU BELIEVE JESUS DOESN'T KNOW WHEN HE IS COMING TO GET US IN THE CLOUDS??

JUST SAYIN!! COME LORD JESUS COME!!!
