We can certainly see which way the wind is blowing, Doves. See article in the link.
I was trying to describe to my young niece (19 years old) what it feels like to have to Holy Spirit imbedded. She was fascinated by the signs of the end I was regaling her with. Without the Holy Spirit, it all sounds like some strange nether world. I explained to her that the Holy Spirit does not manifest itself with a *whoomph* of fire, as it did for the first Christians. It's subtle but powerful. Enabling one to recognise truth from fiction. It (Holy Spirit) encourages and urges one to study - read and pursue Almighty God's word.
Israel's pathetic leaders are pandering to politics. This article will make you feel a tad ill. Throughout scripture - particularly the old Testament - the entire story is about Israel's relationship with God. Fabulous times were had when Israel obeyed. Serious plop hit the fan when Israel disobeyed.
After our LORD Jesus was crucified - the Jewish people lost their homeland. Wherever they went in the world - they were rejected. They were accursed. And still are! After serving 7 years in concentration camps, where 6 million were murdered - they were finally allowed back into the Holy Land. But - it's not easy. The Israeli's are badgered from every corner. Not only Iran but the entire world seems to feel they have a right to dictate to the Jewish people what they should do in their own country. And - from the story of Purim - God wants them to tell the world to naff off. God wants the Jewish people to stand strong in their faith and KNOW that Almighty God's hidden hand will ALWAYS rescue them. If Israel had that kind of faith - our LORD Jesus would be here immediately. It would be game over for satan and the secular world.
All it would take is for Israel to wake up and realise they have ultimate power to change the world. By acknowledging Almighty God.
This world will never know peace until Jerusalem has peace.
