After doing some research about the city that sits on 7 hills, described as a prostitute, I discovered that Istanbul (Constantinople) is also a city that sits on 7 hills. See the 1st link below. If you scroll down the article, you'll see a link that shows all the other cities that claim to be built on 7 hills. New York and Jerusalem are among them. Who knew?
The big difference is that Turkey does indeed, sit on many waters. In the 2nd link is an article showing all the Seas of Turkey. None of the other "7 hill" cities can claim the "many waters" situation. Plus - the prostitute is accused of blasphemy and she is riding the beast whose heads all have the name of blasphemy. This can only refer to false religion. The worship of another god besides the One and Only True God. As the Mediterranean Sea is known as the Biblical Sea in prophecy - it stands to reason that the prostitute also has a shoreline on the Med.
In my opinion, Turkey does behave like a prostitute in politics. Turkey plays political games with all the nations. More importantly - Turkey holds the keys to the Bosporus Strait.....a major waterway into the Black Sea. Which is where we are seeing the rapid build-up to WW3. All western ships would have to use the Bosporus Strait for quick entry into the Black Sea.
We are told in scripture, that Satan's Seat is in Turkey. That alone makes it pretty clear.
