A short YT clip in the link regarding peace talks between Ukraine and Russia - using Macron and Merkel as mediators. The clip is under 3 minutes long. The Ukrainian PM's address is a tad gobbledy gook but note how often he says the words "peace and safety". Zelensky keeps stressing how the safety of Europe is at stake...as well as Ukraine. He keeps pushing this narrative.
My opinion? Something has pushed Putin's buttons. He isn't blurting it out but his actions tell us that Putin had knowledge of a deep threat to Russia's interests. As they say...the best form of defence is attack. Putin hasn't just made a pre-emptive move - he's made a HUGE pre-emptive move. He's is not playing games.
So...while they are holding these "peace" talks and saying the words "peace and safety", will instant destruction come upon them?
