In the beginning God created the heavens (cosmos, universe) and........."the earth". (Genesis 1....)
WHATEVER God creates is good, perfect and complete.

WHAT then happened to the earth..... here singled out in Genesis 1:1.
WHAT made it formless, void and empty, hidden in darkness.... chaotic?
 
WHY did God have to organize, restructure and renew it before it could be inhabited by humans ?
